The above tables show that one blast results in 16/02/2012 were above 5mm/sec but below the 10mm/sec
criteria, which is allowable only for 5% of blasts in a 12 month period. The compliance against the overall 12
month period will be reported in the EPL Annual Return and Annual Environmental Management Report.
The blasting limits applying to Integra Coal are detailed in the tables below.

A review of the above tables shows that noise levels monitored at all the above residences complied with
the criterion with the exception of a 3 dB exceedance at Richards during the night time measurement. This
receiver is in the Integra Coal noise acquisition zone and no complaints were lodged at the time of the
exceedance.

Monthly surface water monitoring in the North Open Cut was conducted on the 22nd February 2012.
Surface water monitoring involves collecting water samples from a number of locations around site and
analysing for several physical and chemical parameters including pH, electrical conductivity and total
suspended solids.
Ground water monitoring in the North Open Cut was conducted on the 22nd February 2012 and involved
measuring the depth of each water source as well as analyzing for several physical and chemical
