THANK YOU LETTER From Dn. Winston Teo

Dear Pastor, I am overwhelmed by God's love outpoured to me and my family through the visits and gifts of the brethren from Bethany. Many came to give their condolences, spending time with us during the wake, vigil service and funeral. My family and I are deeply touched. My second brother wept when he understood the response from Bethany. Thank you Pastor for your support. The pastoral team who returned on Saturday came to visit directly from the airport. Please convey our gratitude to Bethany. The Lord has touched my siblings deeply with special acts of kindness during this time of grieving. PLMC offered the church for the venue of the funeral. This is not done normally for the members. The Lord also provided for an appropriate slot after the church service at Mandai for the cremation. There were only 2 suitable slots remaining. It rained during lunch time on the day of the sea burial. My brother asked me to say grace for lunch. I asked the Lord to give us fine weath-er in the afternoon. He heard our request and gave us fine weather throughout the entire journey. There were more acts of kindness. What a great and wonderful God we have ! He is kind and abundant in grace and mercies. I just thought that I should share this with you. Warmest Winston

Psalm 92:12-13

LET YOUR SOUL DELIGHT ITSELF IN ABUNDANCE

The Human Being is much more than just flesh;

He has a Soul that needs to be fed and be refreshed. Unaware of the existence of the Soul brings much unrest; The flesh is taken care of but the Soul remains unblessed!

God seeks to awaken us to the existence of the Soul;

He creates a spiritual thirst that makes us seek the Best! The things of the world will never satisfy the Soul;

Only God has the power to make a person truly whole.

The Lord offers food and drink for the needy Soul; We must reach out and seek Him, humble yet bold. The Soul would find all its needs met in the Saviour; Jesus would bring us into the Lord’s great favour!

The Living Water would quench the thirst of the Soul; The Living Bread is given to everyone who takes hold. The needs of the Soul would be fully met by the Lord;

How wonderful and wise to seek the Living God!
