Dear friends, as we may know, Hayya Ala’l Falah means ‘Come to success’, we believe that one of the most honourable means of achieving this success is by serving humanity and bringing some happiness to those in pain. Since 1983 Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has been serving millions of people around the world and our work has grown from strength to strength. Last year your generous donations have enabled us to reach thousands of people who would have otherwise suffered in silence. Of particular note were our free cataract, water aid and emergency relief projects in Burma, Syria and Pakistan, all have played a significant role in bringing solace to those afflicted by war and disaster. A heartfelt thank you to you all from myself and the Al Mustafa team.

Saad bin Ubadah (ra) narrated. I asked the Prophet of Allah what charity is best? And he replied, ‘Giving water to drink’. [Sunan Ibn Majah]
Al Mustafa Welfare Trust believes that everyone should have access to sanitation and clean water. Hygiene and cleanliness form one of the bedrocks of all forms of social and humanitarian development.
Unfortunately, more than a billion people lack access to safe drinking water today. Our sanitation and water programmes include building com-munity water systems, toilet facilities, ablution areas, boreholes, deep water wells and shallow water wells.
Our ApproachWe have teams on the ground who understand local issues and provide them with the skills and support to help communities set up and manage practical and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene projects that meet their real needs. We also influence decision-makers to do more to provide these vital services. We work locally and internationally to change policy and practice and ensure safe water, hygiene and sanitation’s vital role in reducing poverty is recognised.

A dedicated place to pray, to socialise, to read Qur’an and nourish one’s soul is so important, but within Muslim communities in the developing world, they don’t always have this option. Donating towards the building of a blessed Masjid ensures our brothers and sisters in Asia and Africa can share in that very same joy!
Help Renovate a Masjid It is a wonderful feeling going to the mosque regularly to pray and learn alongside your brothers and sisters, and now you can help give less fortunate Muslims the same experience by improving and providing dedicated prayer spaces and facilities.
Build Your Palace in ParadiseThe Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) relayed to us the glad tidings of a Palace in Paradise, Insha’Allah for those who build a mosque in this world.

After Eight years of conflict, Syria is one of the most dangerous places to be a child.
Right now, nearly 8 million Syrian children are in danger. Many have lost their homes, their schools and even their families. They face unspeakable violence, a lack of access to nutritious food, health care and clean water, as well as an increased risk of disease. One in three schools in Syria is destroyed, damaged or disrupted leaving more than two million children without the chance to learn.
When you give Syria donations with Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, your money is put to good use in the form of cash grants that allow residents to buy basic necessities - food, clothing, and bedding or to pay for much needed shelter. Your donations also go towards providing essential food packs for those in need of emergency relief and towards crucial medical supplies to help tend to as many refugees as possible.

At least one child dies every 10 minutes in Yemen from malnutrition and preventable diseases.
Malnutrition in Yemen is at an all-time high. 2 million children are acutely malnourished and nearly 400,000 are suffering from severe malnutrition and urgently need life-saving food to survive. Right now children are facing a deadly cholera outbreak and the health system is near collapse.
AMWT is one of the very few charities working inside Yemen with Doctor’s Without Borders to save lives in Yemen. So far we have helped over 80,000 people.

We are proud to support several schools in Gaza, Pakistan and Bangladesh. In addition, as part of our Mission Possible campaign, we support hundreds of pupils each year. The program operates by providing children with school supplies such as stationery, books and bags as well as staffing the schools with a dedicated team of volunteers.
Our enthusiastic team of architects and builders are on hand to oversee the construction of each new school we build. When you consider the fact that many of our school building are constructed on hilly or mountainous terrain, their feats seem even more impressive.
School MaintenanceAMWT is working hard to make education accessible to all, that’s why we undertake school maintenance in different parts of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Gaza. Thousands of schools have poorly maintained buildings due to shortage of funds. Just £2000 can help maintain a school so children have proper facilities for education.
£6,000 will help build a rural Primary School.
£2,000 will help Maintain a School for an Entire Year.
