NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO ANY South Dakota HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR WHO WILL BE ATTENDING A COLLEGE, UNIVERISTY, TECHNICAL OR COMMUNITY COLLEGE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES IN THE 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR. STUDENTS ON ACADEMIC PROBATION ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules. The registration for the $1,000 Scholarship Drawing (“Contest”) begins on April 1, 2018, and ends on March 31, 2019 (“Contest Period”).

Eligibility: Contest is open to any South Dakota high school senior who will be attending a college, university, technical or community college within the United States in the 2019/2020 academic year. Students on academic probation are not eligible. Employees, officers and directors of Host, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter: No purchase necessary. On or about April 1, 2018, the Host will promote the $1,000 Scholarship Drawing via social media channels, high school visits, high school events and other venues of the Host’s choosing. Participants will complete this application that can be found here: www.ihelploan.com/blog. All required fields must be completed for all entries. All entries must be received by March 31, 2019. Limit of one entry per person. By completing the form, participants acknowledge all information will become the property of RSLFC. This information can be used to contact participants to: provide updated statuses on application drawing, comply with federal, state and local laws, combat fraud, and send other information via United States Postal Service, electronic mail or telephone about the Host and its products/services. Information provided on the scholarship application WILL NOT be sold or shared to an external party. Personal information is protected from unauthorized access and use with security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Host is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or non-delivered entries or for any miscommunication or technical failures as a result of contest participation. Upon receipt, entries become property of Host. Entrants agree that the Host, its affiliates, directors, officers and agents are not liable for, and will be held harmless against any and all claims to injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest or from acceptance or use of any prize. The entry forms can be mailed (RSLFC, 105 1st Ave SW., Aberdeen, SD 57401) or emailed ([email protected]) to the host.

Prize: Five (5) $1,000 scholarships along with one (1) iPad will awarded. The scholarships will be applied to the 2019/2020 academic year cost of education and sent directly to the financial aid office of each winner’s school of choice under their respective names. Other expenses and/or services not specified are the sole responsibility of each winner. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is permitted. Prize is not transferable. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Selection of Winners: Six (6) winners will be chosen at random from all entries submitted to RSLFC. The winner will be selected by the Host at the completion of the contest. The Host reserves the right to disqualify submissions from the contest based on their discretion. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of participants. Winners will be notified at the time of the selection via email or phone, which will be provided during the submission process. The Winners will have seven (7) calendar days from the email or phone message to accept the prize. Host is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner or for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts of winner to claim prize. If the selected winner(s) cannot be contacted, are ineligible, or fails to claim a prize, prize may be forfeited or an alternate winner(s) selected. An unclaimed prize will become the property of the Host.

Winners: The Registration Names of the potential winners of the Contest may be publicly announced, at the Host’s sole discretion, in any promotional materials, but the Host has no obligation to do so. Additionally, Host may use the winner’s names, likeness, image, voice, hometown and biographical information in advertising, trade and promotion, including on the Internet or via wireless application protocol, without further notice, compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. Any potential prize winner whose name is announced publicly as the winner of the Contest must show proof of eligibility upon request and qualify for the particular sweepstakes in order to accept the prize. Host is not obligated to select, or publicly announce, any alternate prize winner. By entering the sweepstakes, all entrants agree that their registration names may be announced publicly either after or prior to the Host’s notification to them that they are a potential prize winner and either after or prior to the Host’s determination of their eligibility or qualification for, or their acceptance of the prize. The Host reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner if such potential winner is determined to have been ineligible or unqualified. Entrants and winners are solely responsible for their own actions relating to this Contest, and the acceptance and/or use of a prize. By participating in this Contest, and/or by acceptance or use of the prize, all entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless Host, Sponsors and their parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies, Contest sponsors and the respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any liability arising in connection with the Contest and/or use of the prize.
