Let’s say you’re headed out for a walk that takes 30 minutes. By using the delayed alarm feature, you can create a custom alert that would be triggered after 31 minutes. If the alarm is not disabled by the allotted time, an emergency text message and an e-mail with your GPS location and local PSAP number (Public Safety Answering Point) will be automatically sent to your selected emergency contact. In the case of the monitored version of the app, it will be sent to the 24/7 alarm monitoring company which can then immediately dispatch help to your location, track your device as well as call you back.

Whether in an accident, injured while running, or any other situation, having crucial medical information available at all times can make a huge difference. With the built in medical profile, you can add allergies, PCP information, blood group, medications or any other critical information that could be useful for emergency responders to make sure you’re getting the proper care.

If there is ever a situation where you are required to disarm your alarm but are actually in need of help, iHelp+™ features a distress signal. By entering your custom passcode in reverse, it appears as though the alarm has been disabled but in fact a distress message including your GPS location and local PSAP number will be automatically sent to your emergency contact every 1000 meters until the alarm is disabled.

In a matter of seconds, a situation can change to where you need assistance. With one simple touch of a button, you can let your emergency contact or the alarm company know that you need help. With an audible or silent alarm, your GPS location and local PSAP number will be automatically sent to your emergency contact. On the other hand, you may be a witness to a crime or a suspicious activity. By triggering the alarm you will then have the exact location of the activity and be able to report it to the local police, thus helping promote a community watch for a safer society.

In a time of need, being routed through various emergency resources takes unnecessary time. By providing the local PSAP number, this ensures that you’re in contact with the right officials immediately anywhere within the U.S. These PSAPs are presented to the emergency contact who can then contact the right officials, regardless of your location.

With the built in GPS, there is no longer the need to figure out your exact location. It removes the guesswork for your emergency contact to try locating you and makes it easier to dispatch help in a timely manner.

Getting a hold of your loved ones in a matter of seconds could make a world of difference in a time of need. Add up to 4 quick contacts that are setup on a single click interface making it simple and easy to reach any one of them. Even if you are not able to connect via the call, the text and e-mail that is sent to them on your behalf can help them provide immediate help to you in your time of need.
