loveLife is South Africa’s national HIV-prevention campaign for young people. We combine a sustained high-powered multimedia campaign with nationwide community-level outreach and support programmes to promote healthy, HIV-free living among South African teens.

Objectives
1. TRAINING: loveLife trains ‘adult allies’ to initiate and sustain ongoing positive lifestyle activity in schools and communities.
2. ONGOING ACTIVITY: Local leagues and community events are the strategy for achieving sustained activity.
3. EVENTS: loveLife Games events serve as best practice HIV-prevention models for the community and the country.
The loveLife Games targets in and out-of-school youth between the ages 12 and 19:

– National and Provincial Trainings are “Train the Trainer” events.
– All trainees are expected to serve on loveLife Games LOCs.
– All trainees are expected to drive local activities and events on the Body Ys model.
– lovingLife Motivational Programme implementation.
