¿QUÉ SON LAS FALLAS?Las Fallas son únicas. Durante unos días de marzo, este festival convierte a València en un museo de arte efímero callejero para celebrar la llegada de la primavera. Alrededor de 800 monumentos de madera, cartón piedra y otros materiales llenan las calles de la ciudad. La música, la pólvora y la indumentaria tradicional se suman como ingredientes para convertir a las Fallas en una fi esta singular. De hecho, sus valores creativos y prácticas rituales han conseguido que sea una fi esta declarada Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.

WHAT ARE THE FALLAS?The Fallas are unique. For several days in March, this festival converts the towns of the Valencian Community into momentary street art museums to celebrate the arrival of spring. Around 800 monuments made of wood, cartón piedra (literally “stone cardboard”, similar to papier maché) and other materials fi ll the city’s streets. Music, gunpowder and traditional clothing are all essential ingredients, making the Fallas a unique festival. In fact, its creative values and practical rituals have resulted in the festival being declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

La noche comenzará con una visita guiada al Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía seguida de un pequeño recital, posteriormente se ofrecerá un cóctel y finalizará con el espectáculo de la Nit del Foc desde los balcones de Les Arts.

El horario de acceso será a las 22:30h.
