Señor, es cosa sagrada para El.
Nehemiah 10:35-37 Todos nosotros, sacerdotes, levitas y pueblo, sorteamos para cada familia la fecha en que,
una vez al año, tendrán que ofrecer la leña para el Templo de nuestro Dios, para quemarla en el altar de nuestro Dios,
según lo que esta escrito en la ley. Cada año llevaremos al Templo de nuestro Señor los primeros productos de nuestros
campos y las primeras frutas de todos los arboles. Como tambien los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestro rebaño,
según lo que esta escrito en la Ley. Las primeras crias de nuestro ganado mayor y menor seran llevadas al templo de
nuestro Dios y destinadas a los sacerdotes que estén de turno en el Tempo de nuestro Dios.
Números 18:21 A los hijos de Levi les doy como herencia todos los diezmos de Israel, a cambio de servicio
que presten, es decir, del servicio de la Tienda de las Citas.
Mateo 5:17 No crean que he venido a suprimir la ley o los Profetas. He venido, no para deshacer, sino
para traer lo definitivo.

God has given us everything.
It is our responsibility to return to God the best first
fruits of the bounty God has provided.
The following Bible verses serve as a reminder of this
sacred responsibility.
Leviticus 27:30 A tithe of everything from the
land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees,
belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.
Nehemiah 10:35-37 We also assume responsibil-
ity for bringing to the house of the LORD each year the
firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree. As it is also
written in the Law, we will bring the firstborn of our sons
and of our cattle, of our herds and of our flocks to the house
of our God, to the priests ministering there. Moreover, we
will bring to the storerooms of the house of our God, to the
priests, the first of our ground meal, of our grain offerings,
of the fruit of all our trees and of our new wine and olive
oil. And we will bring a tithe of our crops to the Levites, for
it is the Levites who collect the tithes in all the towns where
we work.
Numbers 18:21 I give to the Levites all the tithes
in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they
do while serving at the tent of meeting.
Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to
abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to
abolish them but to fulfill them.
Are we returning our best first fruits to God? Planning our
giving to the Parish each week is a good way to make sure
we are meeting our responsibility.
This week, let us each examine whether we are giving our
best and first fruits to God.

QUINCEAÑERAS: Las celebraciones se harán en grupo una

Infant Baptisms: Congratulations!
We look forward to welcoming your child into the life of the
Church. It is required for parents to attend two preparation
classes before having their child baptized. Please call the
Parish Center to register for classes prior to the birth of your
child. When choosing godparents, please keep in mind that
godparents are required to be practicing Catholics who have
received the sacraments of Baptism, the Eucharist, and
Confirmation and are at least 16 years of age.
WEDDINGS: Arrangements are to be made six months in advance
with one of the priests.
RECONCILIATION (CONFESSION): Saturdays, 4:00 to 4:45 p.m.
in the Church, or anytime by appointment.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK: Call the Parish Center immediately
in case of emergency, or to schedule a visitation for the
homebound or for the hospitalized.
NEW PARISHIONERS: Registration in parish required for
Baptism, Religious Ed. Classes, etc. Please stop by our Parish
Office between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
HOMEBOUND, NURSING HOMES AND HOSPITAL VISITS:
Priests and Pastoral Care Ministers are available for visits.
Please call the Parish Office at 231-0013 to let us know.
CATECHUMENATE: Preparation for adults who have not been
baptized, not received First Eucharist and/or have not been
confirmed. Please, call 231-0013 for more information.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: To register your children, you need to be
a registered member of our parish. Please call 231-0013, ext. 232
for more information.
RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process of
study and prayer for those wish join the Catholic Faith.
