CROCKER LODGE IN ACTION: Supporting Masons 4 Mitts (About 50 Brethren and Family Members were present at AT&T Park on

    September 28, 2016)

    3

Brethren, as we enter the last quarter of this Masonic year 2016, I look back and could not help but feel proud and content-ed with the way our Lodge mem-bers have come together to work towards a common goal of mov-ing forward and keeping our Lodge active and busy. All these would not have been possible if we continued our apathy towards each other and towards our Blue Lodge. With everyone's continued sup-port we have made this year pro-ductive and we continue to strive to become more mature and more professional in dealing with our masonic obligations. Let us consider for a mo-ment the strength of our frater-nal harmony, a primary compo-nent of our existing brotherhood with a common goal of strength-ening brotherly love, relief and truth as well as our cardinal vir-tues of temperance, fortitude, prudence and justice. I am re-

questing everyone to please con-tinue to support and join our up-coming events: 1. October 6 Stated Meeting

and Recognition for the Daly City Police Department

    2. October 13 Officer's Profi-ciency

    3. October 20 3rd Degree Con-ferral

    4. October 27 Degree Conferral I would also like to con-gratulate Bro. Ernesto Perez for being raised to the sublime de-gree of Master Mason. I would also like to thank the SSF Lion's Club led by Ms. Evelyn Paje and Bro. Pat Ancheta for a successful health fair. Also a thank you to all who participated and joined the turnover ceremony at Marjorie Tobias Elementary. Finally, be-cause of the support of all breth-ren we now have a newly in-stalled carpet in the temple. Thank you to all of you who made this possible. May the Great Architect of the Universe bless us all and continue to bridge the gap. Sincerely & Fraternally,

    Bro. Carlo S. Chaves Master

Greetings my fellow Worthy Brother freemasons. Harmony, as we all know, the strength of a lodge is dependent on it which we all are striving for. Achieving it is always a challenge for everyone and most particularly the Master and the officers of his lodge. We all know that each individu-al member is different in many ways, features, dispositions and character. But in our craft we are taught to deal with this indifferences by following certain rules, which when it is implemented and

followed would lead us to the right path. By applying these, it will lead us to pro-mote good fellowship among the breth-ren and that “you will never hesitate to go of foot and out of your way to serve a brother. And when you are offering your adoration to the ever living God, you will remember the welfare of your brother as your own. That you will keep the se-cret of your brother as your own when given to you in charge as such. That you will be ever willing to stretch forth a helping hand to raise a fallen brother and lastly that you will whisper good council in his ear gently admonishing him of his errors and in the most friendly manner endeavor about to bring about a reformation.” Brethren, by adhering to these standards, good fellowship and Harmony we will see and feel. May the GAOTU protect and guide us thru our endeavors to make us "As One."

Fraternally Yours, Miguel F. Jabagat Jr. Senior Warden

For this month, I will relate the event which happened last, will be the first. The joint endeavor of Crocker Lodge # 212 and the Golden Gate Lions Club Health Fair on September 24, 2016 was an awesome success. There were present medical doctors Brother Doctors Tony Wong and Reyes who made their diagnosis in their respective medical specialties. Doctors and Nurses in their field of specialties from the Lions Club as well took blood pressure test, sugar for diabetes and cholesterol test diligently did all in their respective duties. Our own Brothers Worshipful Ron Mitchell and Brother Allan del Ro-sario were up and center stage who did their own gig by cracking some of the patients’ skeletal joints (OUCCHHH!!), but not surprisingly, they came down the stage feeling some sigh of relief and wanted to have some more done. (Beware Brethren, the next time you want it done, it will be in their clinics with a fee.) That Saturday, it was all done out of the goodness of their hearts as Masons and Lions for the welfare of the community. This is how the Masons oper-

ates. Give to the community, as a show of RELIEF and BROTHERLY LOVE. We also served breakfast a plenty that day. I cannot thank the brethren enough who helped prepare and served the food. Bothers Eric Gapal, Ernie Perez, Rudy Labit, Adonis Reyes, Joshua Cusing, Lowell Pailano, Len Catig, who, despite his impeded physical moves was there offering his assistance. Brother Suguitan who produced the evidence by taking good pictures. My apology if I have not men-tion all of you that volunteered to make that day a success. Special thanks to Worshipful Moises Mendoza who acted as the Liai-son/Hospitality Greeter for the guests who were feeling like strangers. He made them feel comfortable and at ease. The Lions Club Chairperson was very concerned before the start of the fair. She nervously quipped to me that she has to have at least 50 patients for that day, otherwise there will be not health fair next year. Well low and behold, there were at least 200 patients seen that day. Needless to say, they were all satisfied with the service of the medical staff and most especially the culinary service we provided them. Kudos to our Worshipful Mas-ter, Carlo Chaves, who time and again, enjoined with others whether it be other Lodges for a joint conferral, his presence, along with the SW, JR W and the Marshal for an outdoor conferral with San Mateo Lodge, Masons for Mitts, Charitable do-nation for Parents/Teachers Association with Margaret Tobias Elementary School to name a few, and don’t forget, on Oc-tober 6, our stated meeting, we will have

This is the first time that this will happen to our Lodge. We had the three conferrals this month, which were attended by brethren from other Lodges, Food and beverages were donated by the candidates enjoyed by the brethren. Our stated meeting on September 1, was attended by the full presence of our officers and members, as well as visitors from other Lodges.
