• Bevel gear unitThe disadvantage of this bevel gear unit is that a contra torque of the vertical axle is exerted on the horizontal axle of the wings. This causes that the windmill will rotate itself out of the wind direction.

• Adjustment leverAs a temporary solution a lever is placed that locks the big vane in a 90 degrees angle with the wings. However this solution automatically interferes with the high RPM protection.

• Flexible couplingThe synthetic parts of the flexible coupling are being damaged, probably by the faltering load. The high load happens when the system is on the brake. The faltering load happens when the windmill exerts a too low torque on the pumps to run continuously.
