CPO Trade Show Workshop

Certified Plant Operator education and certification is a key deliverable of the Convention. To assist in a positive and successful experience, the exam will now occur on the day after the instruction. Participants will receive course instruction on Thursday so that the course content will be fresh and top of mind for Friday (12:00pm – 3:00pm). This year, CBWA will once again team up with the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association to bring together a large variety of booths across our industries. We expect a lot of traffic at this year’s event in Montreal, so you don’t want to miss it! Whether you’re exhibiting or there to connect with new and old suppliers, there will be plenty for everyone. This year’s workshops will feature the following topics: Model Code Revisions and CFIA Safe Food for Canadians. More details to follow. Please check our website at www.cbwa.ca for updates.

CBWA Plant Operator Certification Seminar and Examination Registration Form (Available to CBWA members and non-member companies)

The CBWA continues to offer the next generation of its Plant Operator Certification Program during the convention. The revised study material, seminar and examination outline current and proposed Canadian bottled water regulations. This seminar is for those who are preparing to take the examination, those who wish to add CEU’s towards their next certification, or those wanting to learn and upgrade their technical skills (outside of the Plant Operator Certification). The redesigned study course was developed to train your plant technicians in every phase of drinking water preparation, beginning from the source water through to finished product and packaging. The course includes a Q & A after each chapter. A Certificate of Completion is awarded to members after successful completion of the final examination. This is an excellent way to recognize technical proficiency in any bottling plant. The seminar will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 (8:00 am – 5:30 pm) and is open to both CBWA members and non-member companies. The final examination will be on Friday, September 20, 2019 (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm). Once your reservation and receipt of fees are confirmed, all materials needed to start your home studies will be sent. September 20 - 21, 2019 The 31st Annual Canadian Bottled Water Convention and Trade Show will be held in Montreal, Québec from September 20 - 21, 2019 at the Hotel Bonaventure Montreal. We are excited to announce that we will be teaming up with the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association (CAMA) again for 2019. We anticipate this year’s show to be bigger and better than last year! As per your recommendations, we will be scattering CBWA booths throughout the show floor to better integrate both the CBWA Trade Show and CAMA Expo into one big show. The following rules will apply to ensure everyone’s satisfaction:

Services. It is advisable that you bring along an extension cord to better accommodate your electrical needs.

All cancellations must be made in writing. The date upon which the notice of cancellation is received at the CBWA office will be the official date of cancellation. Should an exhibitor cancel, the following terms apply: Cancellations received up to and including July 30, 2019 will receive a 50% refund. NO refund after July 31, 2019.
