Wise Men from the East Matthew 2:1-12

“In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia and put in the treasure house of his god. Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials to bring into the king’s service some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility – young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the kings place. Financial Peace │January 11 Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University will begin Sunday, January 11th, 5:00-6:30

p.m. in room #124. This 9 week course teaches participants what the Bible says about money

and provides “baby steps” for getting out of debt, investing, and building wealth. Registration

is $100 per family and includes a kit with a lifetime membership to the class. Contact Matthew

Lay Servant Courses │2015

The registration deadline for Lay Servant classes is Thursday, January 1, 2015.

9:30 Worship Service This lite-contemporary service is a good way to begin your Sunday morning! Our Praise Band plays a variety of good music including folk, country, rock, and gospel. Our service is spirit-filled and energetic, yet relaxed and welcoming. Dress is casual and the STARS Café is open before and after. Make yourself at home.

11:00 Traditional Worship Service Come and experience the time-honored traditions and practices of historical Christianity in one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in North Georgia. Our sanctuary exudes holiness and the Holy Spirit can be felt as one enters the room. Please enter in reverence but worship with all your heart as we enjoy the great hymns, creeds, and traditions of our Christian faith.

11:00 Contemporary Worship Service The 11:00 Contemporary Worship Service helps people connect with God and celebrate all that God has done in our lives. The prayer for this worship experience is that those who worship with us may join together in one voice and one prayer as we praise God. Our time of worship includes singing contemporary music and listening to a scripturally based message.

8:30 Holy Communion Service A 30-45 minute worship service meets every Sunday

morning in the Chapel. This intimate service offers

hymns, prayer, message, and Holy Communion. Come

and worship in the Chapel at Bethlehem.
