The strategic alliance Louvre Hotels/Golden Tulip is harnessing its geographic breadth, comprehensive brand portfolio and team expertise to consolidate its presence in Europe and venture into target territories such as Morocco, India, Brazil, the Middle East and China. He has contributed in particular to rolling out the Campanile “New Generation” concept as well as steering current renovation and development plans for Première Classe, Kyriad and Kyriad Prestige. In 1993 he became Marketing Director, then Regional Director for the North-East region (1996) before being named Vice-President, Operations and Franchising (2000). In 2004, Pierre-Fréd éric Roulot became General Manager of McDonald’s France. Managing 40,000 employees working in over 1,000 restaurants, he contributed in  particular t o adapting the McDonald’s concept to better meet the needs and special feature s of the Fren ch market whi le managing relations with the franchisees. Louvre Hotels is a Groupe du Louvre subsidiary run by Pierre-Frédéric Roulot. It was established in 1976 and  joined the Starwood Capital Group investment fund in 2005. Louvre Hotels joined forces with the Golden Tulip Hospitality Group in July 2009, when Starwood Capital took over the latter. That move ranks Louvre Hotels & Golden Tulip as the number 8 hotel group worldwide. It now counts more than 1,000 hotels ranging from 1 to 5 stars (7 brands) in 41 countries.
