    Studio Policies

Classes cancelledor missed may be made up during another class time during the week untilJanuary. Classes cancelled or missed January-May there will not have make-ups.

Attendance It is very important that students attend all the scheduled classes. I will make

every effort to be at every class, and I expect you and your student to do the same. Missingclass slows the learning process and agitates the students and teachers. If a student misses somany classes during recital practices that he or she does not know a dance, the teacher has theright not to allow the student to perform even if the account is paid up.

Promptness On your registration information form, there is a place to inform me what yourearliest time of arrival will be. A student arriving late seriously disrupts a class, not to mention, the student has missed out on a part of the lesson not to be repeated. Please inform theteacher if you are going to be even five minutes late (318-548-2748).

As for my older students, if you are late, you miss the warm up and risk injury as well asinstructions for the night. Do not be surprised if the door is locked if tardiness becomes aproblem. You all have my phone number, call me if there is even a remote possibility oftardiness.

Illness If a student is contagious or miserable, do not bring the student to class. Pleaseinform the teacher before the class begins of the absence as a courtesy. If the youngerstudents do not feel well, they do not need to be in class, as we want happy students and aclass that runs smooth for all. If older students are not feeling well, but is not contagious, theyshould come to class to observe during recital season

Quitting If a child is considering quitting, please inform the teacher to discuss the problem.Sometimes we can work together for a resolution. Please remember also that if a studentquits during recital time that it will disrupt the class for every other student as well as for theteacher. Special consideration is taken for EVERY student and dances will have to be

rearranged and re-taught every time a student quits.***Until a parent or guardian informs the teacher that a child is quitting the childs name remains

on the roster and tuition is charged for the month. The person responsible for the accountpayment will be responsible for all costume, recital, tuition, and late fees charged until theteacher is informed.

Teachers Discretion I place students in levels completely according to my judgment of astudents skill level and NOT age or by friends. Please feel free to call me at any time if youhave any problems, concerns, or questions (318) 548-2748.
