While the best snowmobile racers in North America are preparing their race sleds for the start of another exciting race weekend, I would like to take a moment to welcome you, on behalf of CSRA, to our seventeenth season of Snowcross racing. Through cooperation with the (ISR) International Snowmobile Racing Inc., the snowmobile manufactur-ers, our sponsors, promoters and the rid-ers, we have worked together to ensure that our events provide you with great en-tertainment and plenty of racing action.

Over the past sixteen years the CSRA Snowcross racing organization has grown by leaps and bounds into one of the Worlds largest Snowcross racing circuits.

This winter the CSRA will sanction a total of (9) racing events in Canada.

For the 2011 winter, we will contin-

ue to host our events in key snowmobile markets throughout Ontario and Que-bec. Many of our race promoters have been with us from day one and their events continue to grow in popularity attracting hundreds of competitors and thousands of spectators each year.

New this winter, the CSRA season

opener will take place December 3-4-5, at Calabogie Ski Resort near Otta-wa. Ontario. We then move the show to Rouyn Noranda Quebec to another new race site for the inaugural Coors Light International Snowcross Champion-ships. CSRA also makes a return to the Sudbury market this winter with a new event at Sudbury Downs. This World class horse race track facility features

an enclosed heated grandstand and din-ing lounge overlooking the race course, the facility also features an OLG Slots Casino on site.

We are very pleased to welcome our new corporate and aftermarket sponsors to the CSRA series. This souvenir program is full of information about our events.

The event sponsors and the advertis-ers appearing in this program have dem-onstrated their dedication to the sport of Snowcross by sponsoring our racers and events. We ask for your support and pa-tronage of their respective businesses, as they are instrumental in making Snowcross racing the greatest winter Motorsport in North America.

To our fans, we thank you for your con-tinued support. Fans are the lifeblood of any great sport and we appreciate your contributions to Snowcross.

Have a great winter and ENJOY THE RACES

    Sincerely yours, Ken AvannCSRA President

    RACE FANS

  • Since its inception in 1994, the CSRA (Canadian Snowcross Racing Association) has been a governing body that organizes, promotes, and regulates snowmobile competitions within the province of Ontario and at selected events throughout Canada.

The CSRA was created to help racers, manufacturers, and sponsors benefit from the rapidly expanding sport of professional snowmobile racing. The mission of the CSRA is to bring the sport of snowmobile racing to its highest level. The CSRA strives to bring sponsors, racers, manufacturers, and racing fans the most organized, visible circuit in the industry.

Snowcross is todays most popular form of snowmobile racing. With its high-flying

aerial displays and compact track design, competitors race around tracks that feature tight turns, banked corners, and a variety of jumps allowing racers to catch big air in full view of spectators.

Spanning (9) events from December thru to April, the CSRA travels to key Ontario markets with its travelling race circuit and attracts hundreds of racers and thousands of spectators at each event. Sponsors of the CSRA benefit from a captive audience of race fans totalling over 40,000 for the season.CSRA race fans are a mix of young families whose head of household is between the age of 30 -50 years and single males between the ages of 18-54 years old. Occupations of the head of the household are evenly split between white and blue collar professionals with household incomes in excess of $85,000 per annum.

Amongst all snowmobiles, CSRA racers, spectators and recreational snowmobile users, the common thread that links them together is their love of the great outdoors, the apparel that they wear, and the vehicles they choose to ride and transport their toys with.

    10

Snowcross racing is one of the safest forms of competitive snowmobiling. Our officials go to great lengths to present safe and controlled competition.

Safety starts before the snowmobiles enter the race course area. Every racers machine is safety inspected by technical staff who inspect steering carbides, studs, lighting, engine kill switches, brake operation, etc. Each rider must wear appropriate safety equipment such as approved helmets and eye protection, upper body protection (Tekvest), shin and kneepads, etc.

The race course is designed so the first turn is wide, and on a gradual sweep to reduce the chance of collision as racers approach the first turn bunched together, jockeying for the right racing-line or the hole shot. Sharp turns and jumps are

often implemented onto the course design to keeps speeds down and to provide a challenging race course for the competition and also to create exciting race action for the spectators at a safe distance from the track, as well as to keep other snowmobilers form entering the race course area.

A minimum of six officials are on the race course at all times to assist racers of an accident should occur. Near the pit area, an ambulance with two additional EMTs and advanced life support equipment are present at all times.

Though everyones safety is foremost, we are sensitive to the environment as well; we enforce strict sound level requirements for all the snowmobiles that compete at our events. We pride ourselves on our high safety standards both on the race course and off. If an accident was to occur, our trackside rescue team is ready to assist immediately.

We hope you enjoy our Snowcross racing events. If you ride the trails on a snowmobile or ATV remember to ride responsibly. If you want to ride hard and fast, do it at a sanctioned event where everyone is going in the same direction in a safe controlled environment.

Also remember to RIDE SAFE, RIDE SMART, and RIDE SOBER!.

  • New event locations and 18 classes for new racers:

Snowcross racing is a great family sport, and its easy to get involved. New racers compete with stock trail sleds, modifica-tions are not permitted with the exception that you can change or replace handle-bars, shocks, and skis. To prepare the sled to compete , all you need to do is cover the headlight and tail light with clear tape, and ensure that the sled has a snow flap and a functional tether cord kill switch and a handle bar shut off switch.

Rider safety equipment including (ap-proved helmet, goggles, knee pads, and tekvests) are available to rent at each event if you dont have your own.

CSRA events take place throughout On-tario and provide an opportunity for kids and adults to meet new friends, socialize and compete in a sport that is safe, com-petitive, professional and fun!!

Snowcross racing classes for kids, boys, girls, women and first time racers, are available at all CSRA events.

Race classes for new racers:Kids (Age 4-9 years) 120cc Race Classes:

At each CSRA race there are (3) racing classes for kids to compete with 120cc mini snowmobiles. Polaris, Arctic Cat and Ski-doo each make snowmobiles to com-pete in these classes. The 120cc classes compete to finals on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Kids Novice Race Classes: Age 8-13 years:

At each CSRA race there are (6) Novice racing classes for kids aged 8-13 years.

Novice class racers compete with mid sized 250cc Phantom 4-Stroke sleds or Full size Fan cooled snowmobiles 0-600cc. Polaris, Arctic Cat and Ski-do each make snowmobiles to compete in these classes. The Novice classes compete to finals on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Junior Race Classes: Age 13-17 years: At each CSRA race there are (5) Junior

racing classes for kids aged 13-17 years to compete with full size Fan, 4-Stroke, and Liquid cooled snowmobiles. Yamaha, Polaris, Arctic Cat and Ski-doo each make snowmobiles to compete in these classes. The Junior classes compete to finals on both Saturdays and Sundays. The new Ju-nior FI and Junior F2 classes are the best classes for new Junior racers to start in.

Trail Sport Classes: First time adult racers:

CSRA events feature (3) Trail Sport divi-sion classes that are designated for first year adult competitors. These classes are great for introducing trail riders to Snow-cross competition as none of the competi-tors have any previous Snowcross racing experience. There are Trail Sport racing classes for men and women.

Vintage Racing:Each CSRA race has (4) Vintage racing

classes for snowmobiles over (25) years old.

  • Green Flag When this flag drops at the start, RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT! The race has started and the first racer to the first corner has a great advantage.

Yellow Flag This is a CAUTION. Somebody up ahead has lost their sled. There is no passing in a Yellow Flag Zone! The zone is the area between the Flagman and the downed rider or machine.

Red Flag This means the RACE IS STOPPED. The track is blocked up ahead or somebody has fallen and they need help getting up.

Blue Flag Get ready for a forced pass. This is waved at the slow racers; get out of the way, the race leaders are coming up behind you, and FAST. This keeps the tempo up by letting the slower racers know they are about to be lapped.

Black Flag A rolled up Black flag signals a warning to the racer. If the Black flag is being waved, the racer must pull off the track and report to the race director as he or she has been disqualified due to a rule violation..

White Flag ONE LAP LEFT. Time for that last lap pass for the win!

Checkered Flag The race is over! Time to celebrate, or time to start working on the sled to make it faster.

You will see several flagmen standing around the race course the entire race weekend, usually situated near large jumps and corners, as well as, at the Start/Finish line. They will be waving their flags all weekend to signal the racers. So what does it all mean, what are they saying?

Here is a quick rundown of the flag colours and what they stand for.

As with any Motorsport, racing rules and classes are created to ensure competition is not only fair but also exciting to watch, whether its a Novice or Junior qualifying heat, or a Pro final. Snowcross racing is the most exciting form of winter Motorsport that you will ever witness. Driver experience, snowmobile engine size and the engines performance define the different Snowcross racing classes.

Each snowmobile is classified by engine cc and type of engine Fan cooled or Liquid cooled and if it is stock or modified. In most stock classes racers are allowed to add traction products such as studs or carbides, as well they may change shocks, handle bars and skis. If a snowmobile has any other modifications it must compete in the Open class of the respective division of the racer.

2011 SNO PRO 600While the year-end results in CSRA National competition dont show it, the 2010 Arctic Cat Sno Pro 600 racer proved to be one of the most dominating race sleds in recent history. Pick a discipline in snowmobile racing, and most likely a green machine finished atop the standings. From another X-games gold medal for Tucker Hibbert and a one-two-three finish at the World Championship of Snocross in Sweden, to a win at the long running Soo I-500 by Cadarette Racing and a year-end championship by Brian Dick in the USCC national cross-country arena; the 2010 Sno Pro 600 delivered the goods.

For 2011, the boys and girls hunkered down inside the race shop in Thief River Falls werent about to disrupt the good thing theyve got going with the Sno Pro 6. That means the green machine returns to the track this season with subtle tweaks and improvements to make what many considered the best terrain-racing machine on snow a year ago, even better.

Perhaps the biggest and most visible change to the 2011 Sno Pro is the introduction of a new Camoplast track featuring a 2.86 pitch. This key drive sprocket and track change saves 2lbs versus the previous track, with a track pattern similar to the Attack 20 track used previously. Cross-country racers will employ a more traditional 2-ply 1.25 Ripsaw track with a 2.52 pitch.

No matter the rubber, both will wrap around a revised Slide-Action rear suspen-sion for 2011. The big change here is the

relocation of the coupling blocks for the rear arm. These adjustments have been moved forward on the rail, creating a more aggressive or quicker moment of coupling than previously. The intent here is to give the Sno Pro 600 improved control during weight transfer, thus improved handling of the sled. Joining this key change are larger rear idler arm wheels to assist in track tensioning duties; new compression and rebound valve stacks inside the rear arm Fox shock offers improved control on g-out bumps as well as high speed stutter. And changes to the front arm shock are specifi-cally for cross country racers, attempting to better hone the larger, square edged bumps that showed up at many USCC rac-es last winter.

Other key changes come in the form of durability where new tunnel braces are joined by thicker upper spar assembly gussets. Both bolster the rigidity and toughness the Sno Pro is already known for.

Both cross-country and snocross pilots and mechanics will appreciate the move to clear fuel tanks (shipped with an easy to remove black vinyl cover). There is no simpler or quicker method to check your fuel level on race day than with a Sharpie scribed clear tank.

Tweaks can be found under the cowl of the new Cat racer as well, although youll have to be a well-crafted technician to find them. For Snocross racers, the CDI ignition box features a new program for improved holeshots, while the data collection prowess of the Vehicle Instrumentation Pod or VIP, has been bolstered with data now also available for water temperature and throttle position sensor readings. Finally, new engine mount material is said to be more resistant to degradation from gas and oil.

2011 600 IQ RACENo other race chassis in the past 6 years has logged more miles around a sno-cross track than the one-of-a-kind Polaris IQ Racer. Making its debut back in the waning weeks of winter in the spring of 2005, the sled has been partly respon-sible for allowing Polaris to enjoy a taste of its former terrain racing glory days it enjoyed during the late 1980s. Also play-ing a key roll in this successful transfor-mation is head chief of all things racing at Polaris; Tom Rager Sr. Building the Polaris program from the ground up with young talent and a solid out-of-the-box racer has garnered Rager and the Roseau based maker a nice string of top podium finishes and year-end championships.

In hopes of keeping the terrain party go-ing, Polaris will once again stick with the proven IQ Racer in 2011 and implement key changes to hopefully not just keep up with the Jones but beat em.

Looking past the color swap of a red pan and black cowl, which looks downright bad-ass by the way, the real change for 2011 is found sitting atop each ski. An all-new front suspension was developed throughout the season last year, tested by select racers in the Open ranks, and refined in the off-season. Featuring new spindles, control arms, bushings and steering post, the front suspension is virtually new from bulkhead to ski, save the returning Walker Evans alu-minum piggyback shocks.

In comparing last seasons front suspen-sion to the 2011 version, youll notice a more svelte spindle with a relocated steering arm that allows the steering rod to mount atop the spindle location. The new location al-lows the entire system to turn from full lock left to right with less resistance.

Key changes to the upper and lower A-arms are two-fold. First, the upper-arm now features an encapsulated bushing which mounts to the top of the new spindle, ver-

sus the bolt-in heim-joint found there pre-viously. Once again, this change should produce a more linear and lighter steering effort while also allowing the suspension to cycle through its range of motion with less potential binding or possible breakage.

The other key change is where the low-er shock mount is located. In comparing last seasons suspension, it appears the mount has been moved outward on the lower arm, thereby slightly altering the shock ratio, and softening the later half of the curve rate. This change along with the move to a Walker Evens Needle front track shock, which replaces the air shock found there previously, should make the IQ Racer more compliant in square edged chop.

Unlike the competition, Polar-is will not offer a cross-country kit or components for the IQ

Racer, opting instead to bulletproof the Rush Pro Ride platform for cross-country competition, or the more traditional IQ chassis for endurance events. According to

Rager, Polaris will campaign a fleet of Rush snowmobiles this winter in the legend-ary International 500 cross-country race scheduled for late January 2011.

2011 MXZX 600 RSAfter a year of improvement, Ski-Doo made huge strides in returning to the glory the yellow swarm enjoyed during the first half of the decade. With a pair of Pro championships in CSRA thanks to Lee Butler, as well as a Semi-Pro Stock crown courtesy of Sean Macaulay, the boys and girls from Valcourt were back in the winners circle. Never satisfied, Ski-Doo teased racers and fans of a much improved 600 RS sled way back in April. Clearly, Ski-Doo was sending a message to many of its teams and racers that a much improved race sled was forthcoming, and to be patient and more importantly, avoid brand jumping during the racing silly season.

Finally in mid-October, Ski-Doo pulled the wraps off their new 2011 race buggy with hopes it will not only satisfy its legions of racers, but more importantly, garner more podiums. Two main areas of focus for the new yellow race sled were those of improved power and even more so, improved control and bump compliance.

To address the need for more power, Denis Morin, Vice President of Engineering for BRP, gave the orders to develop new cylinders and combustion chambers for what was once considered a potent Rotax cylinder reed motor. While the Ski-Doo R&D department is being tight lipped about specifics, Race Manager Jeff Goodwin is confident in the sleds ability to deliver more power and in turn, improve holeshots for snocross and improved top speed for the rigors of cross country.

At the other end of the sled, the rear suspension of the 600 RS has undergone a complete transformation of its former self. An all-new suspension dubbed the PCX features a completely new rear-arm coupling system and looks eerily similar to suspension designs found in both competitive sleds and in select Ski-Doo Open class sleds last winter. Unlike the long-standing SC-5 suspension found here previously, which touted only rear to front coupling, the new PCX has coupling stops

in place for both rear to front and front to rear communication.

    CSRA THE SLEDS

ABOVE: This close-up detail of the new PCX rear suspension of the 2011 600 RS race sled clearly shows the new rear arm coupling configuration. Unlike the SC-5 rear bump stop only rail, the new design features cross shafts both in front of, and behind the drop-link, creating a true full-coupled suspension. The benefits will be many, and should be especially fruitful in unpredictable terrain found in natural mogul sections of snocross tracks or wind-swept ditch lines of cross-country.

While the rear-coupling stop is often regarded as having the most impact on ride and weight transfer characteristics, the introduction of a front stop coupler will reduce suspension kickback, especially when sharp edge bumps are encountered at the front of the rail first. Reading between the lines, it also sounds as if the location in relationship to the drop link of the rear stop has also changed, giving the 2011 600 RS improved holeshot prowess, an all-important ingredient in the hard to pass world of snocross.

Weve made substantial gains in power, said Ski-Doo Race Manager Jeff Goodwin during a recent phone conversation. Weve closed the gap in terms of power, but per-haps more importantly, weve developed a race sled that will have much greater pitch control as well as improved capabilities in braking bumps. Racers in both snocross and cross country will notice these key im-provements almost immediately.

Joining both of these key changes to the Doo racer are much revised clutch calibrations to capture the bolstered power as well as revised shock calibrations at all corners. This year, similar to Arctic Cat, Ski-Doo will offer a cross country version in very limited numbers, all of which were allocated to key natural terrain racers. Those not on that short list however can purchase those same cross-country components and create their own MXZX 600 XC RS.

    OTSFF PolarisHometown: Espanola, ON, Canada

OSM - Mason: Can you give us your thoughts on the teams upcoming season, and the new Polaris sleds?I. Hayden: We are really excited about the season, its coming up really quick. And as always, Andre, Stu and the crew are all well prepared, and obviously Lee and I are re-ally excited about getting on the new Po-laris sleds. OSM - Mason: Tell us who you think will be your biggest competition from both sides of the border?

    I. Hayden: I try not to label myself as On par with someone good, I just want to win. Thats pretty much my mentality. I know Lee will be good, and a guy Id want as a team mate. We are great friends away from the track, and always have been. Down South, I dont care whos going to be fast. I just want to race and do well. I never underestimate anybody. I try to go to each event at 100% prepared, and hope to leave knowing that everything Ive worked on and prepared for, Ive accomplished. I dont want any doubt in my mind that what I gave was my best performance each and every weekend. If I can do that for a full season, that would be excellent.OSM - Mason: Whats the event that youre most looking forward to this year?I. Hayden: You know, I have a little re-demption that I feel I need to get from X games. Ive been there four times and had a good run in my rookie season. Ever since then, unfortunately, Ive been injury plagued for that event. So Im really look-ing forward to heading in healthy this year. Im not going to put any extra pressure on racing X cause that wont do any good. In the back of my mind, Im definitely focused on going to X Games and doing well. Im not going to sit here and tell you Im going to win a gold medal and smoke everyone by 30 seconds, but Im definitely not going there not to run up front and do well. OSM - Mason: Do you find X-Games bring

un-necessary pressure, or is it really worth the hype?I. Hayden: You know, I think the worst part of it is just hanging out there for three or four days before the race and living in the hype. Trust me that its really cool and Im very fortunate to be a part of it. But when the gate drops, man its all business.OSM - Mason: You have enjoyed racing success since you were very young, can you describe how life has changed over the years for the boy racer; turned man/hus-band/entrepreneur racer?I. Hayden: Id say its only changed a bit, for couple of reasons. You kind of nailed it... as we all age; there are more obliga-tions, responsibilities, more things to be accountable for, and more things to pay for! You just have to be goal oriented and focused on those goals with no distrac-tions, thats what will bring you success. It took me a long time to learn that, just focus on the basics.OSM - Mason: Its interesting to hear you say that, it seems staying focused is a big problem for the kids who aspire to be pro racers.I. Hayden: Theres just so much to do, with the parties and the cool things to do and all the people you meet and the traveling, its easy to get distracted. OSM - Mason: How are you balancing fam-ily life with racing?I. Hayden: My wife has been great, we met

when I was in my early 20s while I was right in the thick of it, head first, making the jump from racing in Canada to racing in the states for Blair Morgan racing, and living in Winnipeg. Shes been very under-standing. I guess those years were the trial years. I figured if she could live through that and still be cool about everything, we would be good. I run a little bit of a differ-ent program personally, I dont really take my wife with me a lot to the races, and its not because I dont want her there or any-thing, its just for me, its work. OSM - Mason: Does your wife ever go rid-ing with you?I. Hayden: Ha! Sometimes. When we first met, I dont think she had ever been on a sled. I think she was surprised that I, or anyone for that matter, was able to make

a living riding a snowmobile! OSM - Mason: Tell us about your new big life adventure in purchasing the infamous MX facility, Moto Park, just outside of Owen Sound Ontario. What made you decide to buy it? I. Hayden: Id be lying if I told you I havent thought about what I was going to do when Im done racing. You have to start planning and things dont just happen overnight. I feel like I still have a few good years left in me so I just figured now was the time. Last August, it was actually Carl Bastedos (former owner of Moto Park) 65th birth-day and I had been teaching down there for years, we were out for dinner and we just started talking, I asked him if he was thinking about retiring. I had no inclina-tion of taking over Moto Park, but it turned out Carl didnt really have a plan for retire-ment or the park. He asked me about my future plans after racing, and honestly, I didnt know. Carl asked me what do you know best? Obviously it was racing, both motocross and snocross. Well, by the end of dinner I was like, wow, this could ac-tually work! Maybe I could be the guy to take over Moto Park. At the time I was ex-cited but at the same time it was a pretty big deal, so I got together with a group of businessmen and let them work on details while I was racing last winter. By the time spring came around, I was advised that everything was looking good, so the deal went through the end of May and every-thing worked out great. You know, I really just let the deal unfold. It all kind of just fell into place for me. Its the direction I wanted to go so its cool it all came together and I couldnt be happier. My wife is from the area so we moved back this past fall and everything is perfect.OSM - Mason: So what big plans are in the

works for the new look Moto Park?I. Hayden: Moto Park, its a world class fa-cility, with a lot of good people and history, so now its just time to bring everything I have, and take it to the next level. They have done a great job over the years but theres a lot of room for bigger and better things to happen. My big overall goal is, I want people to come to Moto Park be-cause they love to motocross and want a great track with a great facility. Theres a lot of work ahead of us, this is just the be-ginning. OSM - Mason: As a professional snow-mobile racer, your carer takes you all over the world, what has been the most memo-rable or exciting place a snowmobile has taken you?I. Hayden: On the map, its taken me all over the world and Ive found a lot of inter-esting spots. Ive been to Sweden, Holland, Belgium, so really all over the place, and obviously all over North America. There's nothing better than being at the top of a mountain peak at 12,000 feet and youre just jazzed to be there. Its like everything in my life has been created from the snow-mobiling industry. My core group of peo-ple, really good, really hard working and genuine people is what snowmobiling has brought me. Who I am as a person and the relationships Ive built, business sense, travel, life experiences and just so much, its more than just the snowmobile in my garage has taken me, its the whole thing that goes with it, the people I ride with, the people who work on it, the people who en-dorse it and the people in the trailer where the sled is parked. Its this group of people, and thats whats important. That is defi-nitely where snowmobiling has taken me.OSM - Mason: Thanks for talking with OSM Iain and good luck out there this season.

OSM - Mason: The OTSFF Polaris team now consists of yourself and Iain Hayden racing Polaris sleds; tell OSM readers your thoughts on the new team and how every-thing is coming along?L. Butler: This isnt the first time Ive raced for Andre (OTSFF Team Owner), we were together in 04, 05, and 06 seasons, and it was great then as it is now. Everything with the team is coming together really well. Ev-eryone is getting along great and there is a lot of positive feedback from Polaris and our sponsors. They are all really excited about having Ian and I racing together. My team-mate is my biggest competition, so its going to be tough, but its going to be good. Regardless of who else is out there, Im just going to race hard week in and week out, and do the best we can.OSM - Mason: How does it make you feel knowing that your team-mate is looking to be your toughest competitor this year?L. Butler: Its actually nice, you know. With us both having the same top notch equip-ment, you know it will just come down to the rider... and the starts!OSM - Mason: The teams schedule is packed with racing and events all year, what event are you most looking forward to?L. Butler: Actually our first event of the year was the Toronto International Snow-

mobile, ATV & Powersports Show. Its not a race, but it is the kick off for our season. Its pretty cool having everyone together to start the season. X-Games however, is the event Im looking forward to the most. Ive wanted to go for a number of years now, and I have the opportunity with this team to go. Its still up to me to qualify, but as long as that goes well, we will be going to Aspen! Thats definitely what Im looking forward to!OSM - Mason: Iain has competed at X a number of times, has he given you a heads up on what to expect?L. Butler: He hasnt really, but he probably doesnt want to spook me out or anything. Its a big event you know, and I think its kind of something you have to experience on your own. Hayden and I have talked about X over the years, Ive always had questions about it and hes always told me what he thought. Im sure there will be many more questions, after we qualify.OSM - Mason: OTSFF runs a proven cham-pionship calibre team, what are you and the team doing for preparation to sustain the high expectations this season?L. Butler: Well with the physical training aspect, Ive got my own program using the same conditioning coach Ive had for the last couple of years. Drew Robertson from Evolved Nutrition does an excellent job of getting me ready every year. As far as the team and equipment preparation, the guys

are simply the best at what they do, and are working really hard at it. Stu (Adam Stu Robinson) and the whole crew give us the very best equipment out there and it definitely helps us to win. OSM - Mason: As a professional snowmo-bile racer, your career takes you all over the world, what has been the most memo-rable or exciting place a snowmobile has taken you?L. Butler: Definitely the traveling has been great, but the most exciting place a snow-mobile has taken me is the starting line just before a race. When youre waiting for the flag to drop, its a feeling like nothing else. I think you need to experience it to really understand it. If youve never raced, youll probably never truly understand. Its just a feeling you cant replace. Thats not the farthest place a sled had taken me, but it is the most exciting, and I get to go there every weekend! Awesome!OSM - Mason: Thanks for the interview, good luck this season.
