EFS Modelling coverage

• Several documents need be modelled• Subset-026 : SRS• Subset-027 : JRU• Subset-034 : FIS for the Train Interface

• Actual model coverage• Implementable requirements : 4452• Modelled : 2853 (+/- 65%) • Note

• Model written using an ad‘hoc DSL • Discussion on integration with the official openETCS development

process ongoing

Braking curves modelling

• Model by functional composition• MRSP, gradient, deceleration factors, …• Straightforward translation from

Subset-026• Graphical representation of the artifacts

• Validation• ERA provides a spreadsheet for braking curves computation

• Same results for simplest cases• Similar results fro complex deceleration factors

• Due to a discrete computation in the ERA spreadsheet• Acceptable : Δ=20cm for initial train speed = 140km/h

Integration test using software bus

• EFS implements a WCF software bus • allow integration with other software

• Demo : • Execute a Level 1 scenario using EFS model

• Scope • Start of mission• Switch to SR mode at the end of the start of mission• Switch to FS mode when the right balises have been encountered

• Input data• Captured from a real train

• Odometry• Balises

• Use simulated DMI for driver interactions
