  • Welcome to Supanova Pop Culture Expo!For the uninitiated, Supanova started in Sydney in 2000 as comic-fest!, rebranding to Supanova Pop Culture Expo in 2002. Since then we’ve expanded to include annual events in Brisbane (2003), Melbourne, Perth (both 2008), Adelaide and the Gold Coast (both 2012).

In 2013 we flexed our promotional muscles a little further again in co-producing sold out bespoke Game of Thrones events in Sydney and Melbourne.

Needless to say it has been a massive 2013 but as we all know in business you’re only as good as your next show. We understand that it’s a team effort to do what we do and we see you as our partners.

What does this mean in real terms though?

    Price-freeze.

But we’re not just promising it now. We’ve actually been delivering it for ten years.

In other words (except when introducing new expos or expos becoming three day events) our “normal” early-bird prices for Exhibitor booths ($1,210 inc. GST), Artists’ Alley ($220 inc. GST) and Retailer tables ($440 inc. GST) have not changed since 2004! Nor do we have any plans on increasing them. In fact we’ve created new tiers of table prices that will see the cost reduce for some vendors.

As mentioned earlier, we consider ourselves your partners, working together for increasingly bigger and better expos and the best way to encourage you to keep this partnership going is to maintain our pricing structures at these levels for as long as possible and to inspire even more fans to attend for our financial growth. That’s a win/win for everyone.

It’s why we’re also shifting from our traditional showground venues as the opportunity or need arises to exhibition buildings such as the Brisbane and Perth Convention and Exhibition Centres  in 2014.

Supanova literally created the pop culture expo market in Australia which is a bandwagon many are jumping on. However, our brand integrity, high production values, above the line advertising spends, and amazingly loyal and ever expanding fan base, are there to be seen and can be tracked historically.

We therefore hope that 2014 sees us partnering with you in doing what we do best, which is mobilising a switched on, early adopting and socially interactive audience that sees Supanova as the physical manifestation of their entertainment portal and online existence.  A place where their avatars come to life and have fun together!  Yours in fun,Daniel ZachariouEvent Director
