Fill your days at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge with fun, laughter and family festivities. Below is a list of activities that are available throughout the holiday season. For a complete day-by-day schedule and locations, refer to the fold out calendar in this brochure.

BEDTIME STORIESCurl up by the fireplace in The Great Hall with your little ones and enjoy some bedtime favourites. Milk and cookies will be served and all ages are welcome. Nightly at 7:30pm

WAGON RIDESDress warmly and take a ride around Lac Beauvert in a horse drawn wagon! $22.00 per adult. No cost for children 5 and under. Wagon Rides depart daily from December 21st - January 1st at 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:00pm outside the Golf Clubhouse. See The Concierge Desk to purchase tickets.

KIDS CLUB Open daily from 8:00am-8:00pm, The Kids Club is a great place to stop by with the little ones. Draw on the giant chalkboard, play with the toys, play on the computer or colour a picture. Parental supervision is required.

BINGOGuaranteed fun for the whole family - every “Bingo!” wins a prize. Please see event calendar for times!

S’MORES UNDER THE STARSJoin us on the shores of Lac Beauvert from 8:00pm-9:00pm for some star gazing, complete with a roaring fire, hot chocolate and s’mores. Look through our high powered telescope at millions of stars and constellations in one of the World’s Largest Dark Sky Preserves, Jasper National Park! Please see event calendar for dates!

MOVIESFollow the smell of popcorn down to Pyramid B/C for our daily feature movie with complimentary popcorn and juice. For movie titles, refer to the movie schedule posting at The Concierge Desk and in Pyramid B/C.

GAMES ROOMChallenge another family member to a game of pool, foosball, air hockey, or ping pong. There is also an Xbox Kinect for those who would like to be more active! The Games Room is open daily from 8:00am-10:00pm. Parental supervision is required.

FAMILY COOKING DEMOA family friendly class for the aspiring chef in your family. This class is open to children and adults of all ages. Join The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Chefs on December 22nd & 23rd from 4:00pm -5:00pm for some great cooking tips and tricks.

SKATING ON THE LAKEDaily skating is available on Lake Mildred from 11:00am-4:00pm. On the 23rd and 24th from 3:00pm-5:00pm be sure to pop down and skate with the Elves! Skate rentals are available at The Bell Desk located in The Main Lobby. $10 per rentals.

CHRISTMAS COOKIE DECORATINGThis is a special event that no child will want to miss. Pick up your Chef’s hat in the Ballroom on December 25th at 3:00pm and get ready to decorate some delicious, freshly baked cookies. Parents are welcome too!

LETTERS TO SANTADrop off your letters to Santa Claus at the mailbox in our Giant Gingerbread House in the Main Lobby from December 20th to 24th. Your personalized, hand-written reply from Santa himself will arrive via Reindeer Airmail the next day and be delivered to your room! Please include your first and last name as well as your room number on the envelope so the Reindeer can find you.

SCAVENGER HUNTSGet to know The Lodge and some of its history with our daily Scavenger Hunts, which will take you all over our property. Pick up your clues at the Health Club on the day of the hunt any time after 10:00am and make sure you have your answer sheet back by 4:00pm.

YOGAThis form of exercise uses slow movements and stretching to help increase flexibility and balance. This class enlivens every cell of the body, releasing tension, detoxifying the body and creating a calm, clear and focused mind. $15.00 per person. HOLIDAY FAMILY PHOTOThe picturesque Rocky Mountains are the perfect backdrop for your 2014 family photo. Join us on December 24th from 2:00pm-4:00pm for a family photo on frozen Lac Beauvert just outside of Cavell’s Restaurant. Dress warmly!

A WALK THROUGH HISTORY/WILDERNESS WALKMeet for a tour of our legendary property. Learn the history of the nearly 700 acre property and the Great Canadian Lodge tradition that exists in the heart of Jasper National Park. Be sure to bundle up, as most of the tour is conducted outdoors, sign up at the Conceirge Desk and meet in Freya’s Corner at 1:00pm. Please see event calendar for dates!

LI’L ELVES WORKSHOPChildren are invited to create a special keepsake with Santa’s Elves. All craft supplies will be provided. Please see event calendar for dates and times! Parental supervision is required.

STOCKING STUFFING & COOKIESFind your stocking hanging in The Great Hall and have the Elves fill them with treats from 6:00pm-7:30pm! They will also have milk and cookies for you to leave out for Santa and carrots for the Reindeer.*

FAMILY BOARD GAMES Challenge your family members to a fun board game! Sit by the fire in the Great Hall or take it back to your room - there are tons of different games available for all ages. A great, casual family activity for Christmas. Pick up your board game at The Health Club.

TOBOGGANING Bring your family for this traditional winter activity. Slide down the snowy slopes overlooking Lac Beauvert in the open Rocky Mountain air. Pick up your toboggan at The Bell Desk.(Weather dependant & limited quantity available)

SKI SHUTTLEThe FJPL Express Ski Coach offers daily shuttle service to and from Marmot Basin. Morning departures are 8:15am and 10:30am. Afternoon returns are at 2:30pm and 4:30pm. Due to shortened ski hill hours, Christmas Day shuttles run at 9:15am and 10:30am and return at 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

SHOPPINGFor last minute Christmas shopping, visit our boutique shops located on the Beauvert Shopping Promenade, lower level of The Main Lodge. Be sure to make your way to the Golf Clubhouse for some spectacular off season specials in our Pro Shop.

DOG SLEDDINGA great way to get out and experience the beauty of Canada’s winter wonderland is with a team of enthusiastic sled dogs. Whether you want to help drive the sled or just enjoy the ride, all ages can participate. Dog sledding is available just outside of Jasper National Park.

INDOOR SKATINGThe Jasper Activity Centre is home to a full sized indoor skating arena with on-site skate sharpening. If the weather is not conducive to outdoor rinks, this is a perfect alternative for public skating.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIINGThe perfect activity if downhill skiing isn’t your thing or if you just want a change of pace. Over 300 kilometers of trails make Jasper one of the largest cross-country ski areas in Canada.
