GEP has developed a unique filter shaft which applies to all plastic tanks but also to GEP concrete tanks. 15 years of experience has allowed GEP to develop the unique Varitank filter shaft with the following features and advantages.

1. The shafts slide over each other and are connected with a rubber sealing ring to provide an optimal closure. An easy, time-saving and water tight solution. This system prevents the usage of sealants, welds or masonry mortar.2. It is possible to rotate solely the shaft which means that less connection pieces are required.3. The sawable and telescopic shafts will reduce your costs immediately due to the lower labour intensity. Masonry is no longer required these days! The shafts can be sawed or raised in an instance.4. The upper shaft is telescopic compared to the inner shaft. This allows precise installation of the cover equal to the ground level. This can also be done in a later stage when the garden is finished. This also saves connection pieces and thus money and time.5. The shafts are expandable with extra connections which can be installed fast and easy.6. The cover set is rotatable in relation to the shaft and tank. This allows perfect installation with regards to the joints. The cover can be placed slightly tilted to allow perfect installation on a slope.

In short: the shafts and covers are telescopic, cuttable, rotatable and extendable. The wide assortment of covers which fit on these shafts allow a (child)safe and “invisible” covering.

GEP Varitank Cover set, class A walkable, child safe.The plastic class A cover is walkable and provided with an anti-slip profile. The cover is round, isolating and provided with child proof locks. The cover is provided with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.

GEP Varitank Cover set, Class D cover.The cast iron class D cover resists heavy traffic. The cast iron cover is round and fits into a square frame. This square outer frame has a concrete foundation which can be installed into the pavement.

Concrete tanks are delivered including walkable wharf cover and plastic ring. This prevents the inflow of groundwater and dirt during construction.

Assembly and Installation Rainwater tankIf desired, GEP provides concrete tanks up to 10,000 litres with a crane lorry. The concrete wells are delivered to the desired address and placed next to the lorry*. The condition is that the unloading activities can be performed within 30 minutes. In some cases, it is even possible to immediately place the tank in the hole. To this end, the lorry must be able to reach the well on a sound, accessible surface and sufficient space must be available to deploy the side stamps. The reach of the crane* must be able to span the incline of the excavation + diameter of the concrete tank. When in doubt, the final decision always lies with the driver of the unloading lorry. You can find an indication of the maximum unloading distance in the table. No rights can be derived from this table. Flatline Rainwater tank 1.500 Liter

The new generation Rainwater Tanks with optional prefab assem-bled Trident Filter; very quick and easy to place underground and connect. Only 65 cm deep thus making it easy to install! Little excavation works and short assembly times. Available in 1,500, 3,000, 5,000, 7,500, 10,000 and 15,000 litre models. The Flat-line rainwater tank is groundwater-resistant (up to 50 cm) and can handle class B traffic (passenger cars). To be placed underground up to a max. of 150 cm below the ground (measured from the top of the tank). A large net tank capacity is possible thanks to a pump tank with special float switch.

There is also a synthetic cover available that is fitted with a second cover containing two tap valves, the Twincover. Finally, there is a construction able to withstand traffic which has a metal cover.

Bladder tankA flexible bladder tank system developed especially for rainwater use. Special light-proof materials prevent the formation of algae. The synthetic shaft has an integrated smoothing inlet, overflow trap and flexible intake as well as a bottom/side connection to which the filling line of the flexible bladder tank can be connected. The flexible bladder tank has mounting rings, filling line connection and venting.

The bladder tank comprises of a shaft and a storage bag linked by means of subconnection so a communicating vessel is created. The shaft is 31.5 cm round, 100 cm high and contains the following connections: supply 110 mm, bag connection 110 mm and a built-in overflow trap of 110 mm. The bladder tank is delivered including 4 suspension eyes at the top, a 75 mm vent on the top and a 110 mm supply pipe at the bottom of the bag.

The synthetic type AquaFlow AQF tanks are available in different sizes and capacities. The tanks are characterised by their sturdy construction and handles for easy installation. These tanks come standard with a child-proof cover 240 mm in diameter. The types AQF 570 and 690 are also equipped with a number of additional connections. That is why these tanks are used a lot for specific applications, such as hot water, grey water, heat storage and break tanks with built-in pumps. Specific client wishes, such as an extra wide cover of 540 mm, additional connections or insulated housing are possible.

Tank manufactured from environmentally-friendly PE material that is suitable for drinking water according to KTW and DVGW certificate of the W270 Directive. Drinking water tank is suited for underground installation. With special PP screw cap, this creates a rubber seal and ventilation. Always use the drinking water tanks in combination with a telescopic (shaft) cover.
