H.O.P.E. Training CoursesCourse B – NBCUSA Certified Health Ministry Ambassador© (CHMA) Instructor: Pastor Dexter G. MoragneLocation: Convention Center - A122/A123 This course is open to those just beginning in congregational health ministry. Topics covered include: Why?, What?, and How? of starting a health ministry.

Course C – Certified Health Ministry Promoter (CHMP)Instructor: Minister Stacey BottomsLocation: Convention Center - A130/A131 This course is open to students who have completed Course B or with special permission of the H.O.P.E. Training InstituteDirector. Topics covered include: What Is Health Promotion? and How Do You Identify Partners and Resources from Various Community Sectors? Note: Course completers will also be certified to teach the NBCUSA CHMA training courses at the state and local levels.

Course D – Congregational Health Leader Instructor: Pastor Bernard MontgomeryLocation: Convention Center - A135/A136This course is open to students who have completed Course C or with special permission of the H.O.P.E. Training Institute Director. Topics covered include: How Do You Use Prayer as an Intervention? and How Do We Engage in Advocacy? Note: Course completers will also be certified to teach the NBCUSA CHMA and CHMP training classes at the state and local levels.
