The subject, described as a tall, skinny, white male, tried to enter her residence on Bellows Mill Road through a screen window, but Martin chased him away with a base- ball bat. Carter discussed the devel- opment of the town during the founding years of 1774 to 1776 and gave tribute to James Har- rod for the plan that has lasted 241 years. He also presented the idea that some accepted theories for the layout of streets and lots are not totally correct and suggested the possibility of an archeological dig to verify the facts before Harrodsburg’s 250th birthday in 2024.
