Pan Am Games – July 10th – 26th 2015

Parapan Am Games – August 7th – August 15th, 2015

In excess of 250,000 visitors and media personnel to the region

10,000 + competing athletes and games officials from 41 countries

Largest event ever held in this region – size / duration at more than

30 venue sites, 15 major training sites and 13 non competition venues

To accommodate these games effective June 29th thru August 15th introduction of special

HOV lanes, road closures , alterations and lane restrictions

In Preparation for these Games

Dealing with the added congestion throughout this time to

minimize disruptions as follows:� Extension of fleet operation hours

� Addition of cartage resources to assist with pick ups

� Adjusting pickup and delivery routes if/when possible

� Extended hours of operation in Call Taking and Customer Service 7am-7pm

� Effective June 29, 2015 – August 15, 2015 inclusive

Applying a Pan Am & Parapan Am surcharges as follows:� $28.00 LTL pick ups or deliveries (fuel surcharge applicable)

� $50.00 on Truckload pickups or deliveries at 10,000 lbs or over (fuel surcharge applicable)

� Pick up zones – Postal Code chart and map - zones where applicable

Things your company can do to assist

throughout this PEAK period:

�Consolidation of orders being shipped

�Orders ready on time for pick up and avoiding last minute order pickups

�Extend shipping and receiving hours if possible

�Avoiding time specific appointments

�Ship ahead stock transfers where possible

�Scheduling pickups earlier in the day

�If located in specific venue zones – monitor venue dates and shiparound those dates – as congestion in those areas on those days will beincreased

Overview – Guidelines

� Pick up and delivery service will be offered within the impacted games areas subject to transportation restrictions effected by Ministry of Transportation or security organization

� Normal pick up windows may be impacted, no specific pickup or delivery window will be guaranteed

� For same day pick ups: calls need to be placed by 11 am with close time 5pm allowing additional time to get around the game zones impacted by congestion

� Deliveries/pick ups within immediate venue zones may not be possible on event days and will have to book these accordingly – appointments within impacted delivery zones must be communicated 24 hours in advance so we can schedule accordingly

� After hours service may be available with 24 hours advanced scheduling and subject to after hours accessorial fee

� Traffic congestion may result in missing linehaul departures impacting service/delays

� Dangerous Goods within venue zones subject to any games authority restrictions
