To whom it may concern ,Zainab has worked as an interior designer at BIA architecture studio from July 2015 till date where she has demonstrated to be a very resourceful designer developing tasks ranging from the design conceptual phase , trough schematic and up to construction detailing package . She’s a highly creative individual that has always showed dedication and commitment to her tasks , improving her skills and engagement to the company. From client meetings to design tasks she has the full capacity of conducting a project on her own supervising all the necessary elements to its completion . I’m happy to recommend Zainab to her future role in her progressive career as an interior designer , wishing her all the best achievements and confident that she will perform them at a high level of commitment .
Sincerely ,Ana D ‘ Castro Managing director of BIA
To whom it may concern, I am an assistant professor of Architecture at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and Principal of Dharmatecture LLC in New York City. Under this capacity it is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Zainab Zayed. I have known Zainab for about three years. During this time I have taught her at the 400 level during her comprehensive studio and during a month long workshop on sustainability in Cambodia. I also participated as a juror in several of her reviews. From this experience I have to say that not only I be-lieve that Zainab is on the top 5% of her class but also that she will be a huge asset to your Office. She has an innate capacity to design and articulate complex environments, with an undertone of sustainability and a well-developed understanding of emerging technologies. She has an inquisitive mind and a beautiful capacity for presentation. For as long as I have known and worked with Zainab, she has constantly pushed herself, looking not only to gain new experiences but also trying to find a conceptual grounding for her formal explorations. You will not find a designer with a better work ethic coming out of this program. Zainab Zayed is unquestionably a great candidate for graduate studies, and for this reason work experience at a high-level design firms is very im-portant. I believe an interaction with Zainab will benefit both her and your firm. If you have any further questions or would like to speak in person, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Respectfully yours,Camilo Cerro

Help Center ConsoleA console that helped organize forms, folders, and planters in a manner that
reflected the image of a design school.
The Bee’ah wall The Bee’ah wall is an environmentally friendly installation made out of recycled
materials that will benefit all the users of the college being the Dean, faculty, and the students. Five types of reclaimed wood were used for this project; Ash, Oak, Mahogany,
beach and Pine. Two lamps were also made out of oak and ash and the whole installation is attached to the wall using wooden cleats and metal brackets which we
welded ourselves. The existing site was painted in charcoal gray to create contrast with the installation and compliment the color of the concrete ground.

Koncept mall | Graphical representation + diagramming, model making The project brief asked for a shopping centre that would encourage the use of external areas as
well as provide air conditioned space for the warm season. By using a series of rotated slabs and cantelivered terraces that incorporate landscaped outdoor areas, open spaces are maximized and
are used by the retail shops, restaurants, cafes and gym.
Business bay tower | space planning, model making, Graphical representation + diagrammingA mixed use tower located in one of the main avenues of Business Bay, the building includes retail, office
and residential units. At ground floor the retail units open to a green area and a pedestrian lake. A two level podium houses the offices in a finely detailed glass enclosure while the residential units occupy the
remaining 17 levels.

Fashion forward art installation | installation assembly, drawings productionSummer Rain is an art installation inspired by the multi-chromatic reflections of raindrops. Raised from the
floor and with an imponent scale (8m x 8 m) the installation creates a dazzling effect over the space, reflecting its vibrant particles. Similar to small crystals, the vivid colors will be spread in the air like a
magical summer shower.
