    May 6 - Arrive in Tel AvivArrive at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv and be transferredto your hotel for check-in, dinner and a good night's sleep.

    May 7 - Caesarea, Muhraka (Mount Carmel), Megiddo, Nazareth(Mount of Precipice)Journey to Caesarea by the Sea and stand in the place where it isbelieved Paul addressed King Agrippa and Festus (Acts 25, 26). This portcity reveals many extensive remains of the theater and other sites,including a Roman aqueduct along the Mediterranean shore. Lookacross the Valley of Jezreel to the heights of Muhraka (Mount Carmel),where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). Travel theancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo, an exciting archeological dig withits layers of twenty different cities built on top of each other. View thecity of Nazareth from the vantage point where tradition states the localpopulace attempted to throw the Lord off a cliff.

    May 8 - Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha,Kursi, Fish Lunch, Boat RideDrive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, passing the area ofMagdala, home of Mary Magdalene. Enter the 2,000 year old remainsof Capernaum (Luke 4) and stand in what is left of the synagogue inwhich our Lord ministered. Visit the peaceful Mount of Beatitudes thatoverlooks the Sea of Galilee. On this hill, Jesus preached the Sermon onthe Mount (Matt. 5-7). Stop at Tabgha, where the feeding of the 5,000is remembered at the Church of the Loaves and Fish (Luke 9). Continueto Kursi, considered part of the region of the Gadarenes in Christ's time,and remember where Christ cast the demons into the swine (Mark 5).After a fish lunch, enjoy a beautiful boat ride across the Sea of Galilee.

    May 9 - Beit Shean, Harod (Gideons Spring), Jordan Valley, Jericho,Qumran, Valley of the Shadows, Jerusalem Promenade OverlookStart the day in Beit Shean, a city continuously inhabited for over 5,000years. This is the city where Saul and his sons' bodies were hung fromits walls (1 Sam. 31). The uncovered ruins date back to the Greek /Roman city that was part of the Decapolis of Jesus' day. See colonnadedstreets with marble sidewalks, Roman public baths, and a theater. VisitEin Harod (Judg. 7), the spring where Gideon gathered his men to fightthe Midianites. Travel through the Jordan River Valley, the route oftentaken by Jesus and other Galileans as they traveled to and fromJerusalem. Visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery, to learnabout the mysterious community of Essenes who once lived on theshores of the Dead Sea. After stopping at the Valley of the Shadow inthe Judean hills, we travel up to the holy city of Jerusalem. We take a fewminutes to view the city before checking into our hotel for dinner andovernight.

    May 10 - Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Upper Room,Caiaphas' House, BethlehemStand on the Mount of Olives for a remarkable view of the "Golden City"of Jerusalem. Enter the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus went topray after the Last Supper and was arrested (Matt. 26). Meditate on theevents of the Last Supper as you visit the traditional location of the UpperRoom (Mark 14). Continue to Mount Zion to visit the House of the HighPriest Caiaphas, where some say Jesus was questioned the night of Hisbetrayal (Matt. 26). Cross the border into Bethlehem, the birthplace ofJesus (Luke 2). Visit Bethlehem, where the cave revered as Jesus'birthplace resides in the world's oldest functioning church, the Churchof the Nativity (Matt. 1). Look out on the Shepherd's Fields, where angelsspread the Good News.

    May 11 - Masada, Ein Gedi, Dead Sea SwimEnjoy a visit to intriguing Masada, the spectacular mountaintop fortressbuilt by Herod that later became the final tragic stronghold of the Jewishrebellion against the Romans. Ride the cable car to the top to explorethe fortress and look down upon the remains of the Roman camps andsiege ramp below. Visit Ein Gedi, where David sought refuge from Saul.On the way back to Jerusalem, stop at the shores of the Dead Sea, thelowest spot on earth, for an opportunity to take a quick dip in the mineralladen waters.

    May 12 - Old City Tour , Sisters of Zion Church, Pool of Bethesda, ViaDolorosa, Gordon's Calvary, Garden TombWalk through the Old City and enjoy the preserved, ancient culture foundin the narrow streets as well as the modernized Cardo in the JewishQuarter. Visit the Lithostrotos at the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. Thisarea of pavement constructed with large slabs is associated with thecondemnation of Jesus by Pilate (John 19). The pavement also has aRoman "King's Game" board carved into it to use for a dice game thatrecalls the casting of lots for Jesus' clothing after His crucifixion (John19). View the Pool of Bethesda (John 5) where Jesus performed theSabbath miracle. Visit Herods Antonia Fortress where Jesus was broughtbefore Pontius Pilate (Luke 23). Walk along the Via Dolorosa - "the Wayof the Cross". Finally, sense the agony of Christs crucifixion at GordonsCalvary (Luke 23) and experience the miraculous reality of theresurrection at the Garden Tomb. At the end of your time in the HolyLand, prepare for your return journey to the USA.

    ACCOMMODATIONS: Price is based on double occupancy. Registrations will still be accepted after the validity date.RELEASE INFORMATIONPayment of deposit indicates permission for NTS or its agents to record the registrants participationand appearance on video tape, audio tape, film, photograph, or any other medium and to use theregistrants name, likeness, voice, comments, submitted documentation, written papers, and/orbiographical material without restrictions or limitation for any advertising, marketing, publicity, educationalor promotional purpose which NTS or its agents deem appropriate, unless the registrant or guardianotherwise notifies NTS in writing prior to departure.Except where otherwise stated, NTS acts only as agent for the relevant supplier in securing hotels,transportation and other travel services and in no event shall NTS be liable for failure by any suchsupplier to render any transportation, lodging or other travel service to be provided on the tour. NTSassumes no liability for injury, death, damage, loss, theft, accident, delay or irregularity which mayoccur by reason of any negligent or willful act or omission of any suppliers of service. NTS does notown or operate any of the suppliers of services to your tour. Similarly without limiting the foregoing,passenger agrees to hold NTS harmless for any defect in any vehicle, plane, boat, bus, car, van orother vehicle, act of war or insurrection, terrorist activity, revolt or other civil uprising, military action,strikes or labor unrest or any Act of God or for any other act of any third party. Florida law will beapplicable to any dispute which arises out of/or concerns this brochure or your tour.
