I am honored to be part of what has been and continues to be a great team at Bridge Creek Middle School. BCMS has an established history of academic excellence resulting from years of hard work. BCMS is blessed with great teachers that relentlessly work with students to get them to learn at the highest levels possible. We have created a culture of high achievement in an atmosphere that is fun and inviting. We understand creating a safe environment that kids yearn to be in is critical to successful learning. We have worked hard to enrich our offerings with quality courses that not only result in high achievement, but also allow our students to learn through the arts. In the past, we have collaborated with the One University Store at OU to take our STEM course to another level. We also started a broadcasting course last year to expose our students to video production and journalism. That class was honored to interview US Congressman Tom Cole as well as many other projects. Choir for all middle school grades was also initiated this year as well as a speech and debate course. As a staff, we are working to create a systematic approach to our success through professional learning communities. This will create a system of success for current and future educators that come to BCMS and ensure that all students learning are successful. BCMS is definitely on the rise!
Kenny Ward Principal Bridge Creek Middle School
