2017 Children & Youth Cantata:
“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat”
Sunday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m.
Join Jacob, Joseph and his 11 brothers, Potiphar and his wife,
the hairy bunch of Ishmaelite's – one particularly onerous! -
and Pharaoh for our presentation of Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Presented March 5 at the 11:00 am service. The cast is
drawn from the 1st and 2nd grade singers, the 3-6th grade
singers, the youth choir, and adults of LPC – quite the
mix of surprises! It is a great story to be told in song and
action – much fun and much truth!
You are invited to join us for the second of our new experiential
worship services on March 19 at 9:45am (Education Hour) in the
Sanctuary.
These exciting new services, coming out of the Family Ministry
Team, focus on family and intergenerational worship. Worship will
look a little different and feel a little different as worshipers will be
invited to engage their senses and have the opportunity to play an
active role in the worship. All ages are welcome-please join us!
**There will be NO SUNDAY SCHOOL for children on March 19**

SPARK Rotation (grades 1-6) UNIT 5-Palm Sunday To Easter March 5-April 30
The forty days of Lent culminate with the final days before Easter. During this last week of Lent, called “Holy
Week,” we walk with Jesus’ disciples as they experience Jesus’ final days before his death. We parade with
them, eat with them, flee with them, watch with them, mourn with them. After all this, we celebrate with them
on Easter when our Lord was resurrected from the dead. And this celebration on Easter is that much
sweeter because we have walked through the darkness that, in the end, does not overcome the light.
Beginning March 5, the children in the SPARK Rotation will be walking through and learning about each of
the major events of Holy Week:
