The original goals that informed the The University of Arkansas’ VPRs Office consideration of possibilities for transforming its electronic research administration system included the creation of a more efficient system for proposal submissions, award management, and compliance processes as well as to reduce the administrative burden on investigators and units. In this presentation we describe the process of determining how we would pursue this process (e.g., in-house vs outside partner, partners considered and how/why we selected Streamlyne). Finally, we describe our working process and progress as partners, and what lessons we have learned about this process.
