THE FULL MONTY
Book by Terrence McNallyMusic and Lyrics by David YazbekBased on the motion picture, released by Fox Searchlight Pictures, written by Simon Beau-foy, produced by Uberto Pasolini and directed by Peter Cattaneoe
Full of heart and filled with lovable misfits, this musical is based on the cult hit film of the same name. While spying on them at a Girls’ Night Out, a group of unemployed steel-workers from Buffalo sees how much thier wives enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically, but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they’re stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to “let it go.”
THE FULL MONTY is presented through special arrangement with Music TheatreInternational (MTI).

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
This “tale as old as time” is the perfect holiday show to bring the family and community together as it performs in the evermore enchanting NorShor Theatre.

Bernard is planning a romantic weekend at his charming converted French farmhouse with his side-dish, a Parisian model named Su-zanne. The first order of business: get his wife, Jacqueline, on a train to see her mother. Second order of business: pick best friend Robert up from the train station because when you’re dating a model it’s hard to keep it a secret, so why bother…
In an effort to impress his paramour, Bernard has hired a Cordon Bleu cook to prepare a flawless dinner. Of course, even the best-laid plans often go awry. Which is what happens when Jacque-line decides to skip mother’s house after all. An evening of hilarious confusion ensues as each of the characters are forced to improvise at breakneck speed.

Terrified that their massive corruption will be discovered, the mayor and his gang of officials mistake a low-level bureaucrat staying at a local inn as the inspector. Playwright Neil Simon got his first big break in the early ‘50s as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s fabled television series Your Show of Shows, and this comedy takes a fictionalized look at the backstage chaos that went into producing one of the land-marks of television’s golden age.
People everywhere gather around the TV each week to watch their favorite come-dian Max Prince. He’s loud, brash and larger than life. His temper tantrums and one-liners have the power to make careers - or make misery for the writers working around him. The network censors want to change the show to make it more “advertis-er friendly.” But messing with Max can only mean the jokes and jabs will get funnier and wilder in an uncertain future, as the world of television heads for change. The Full and Flex Pass Basic PackageCan’t commit to dates ahead of time? Try one of the Basic Packages.
• With either the full or flex pass, you will need to call for each show and selects seats.• We highly recommend reserving seats at least 3 weeks before a show opens, as often productions sell out.

There are countless reasons to support the Duluth Playhouse Annual Giving Program, from our high quality productions to the hundreds of youth reached every year through the Family Theatre and Education Program.

The Playhouse would not be possible without your sup-port. Please consider making a tax-deductible gift today. All donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much.

FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT
THANK YOU!
Forty percent of the Playhouse’s operating budget comes from contributions made by corporate sponsorships, grant funding, and donations large and small from businesses and
patrons. Thank you for your support in helping us do what we do!
Minnesota voters approved the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment in November 2008. The legacy Amendment supports outdoor heritage, clean water, parks and trains, as well as arts, history and cultural heritage.
It has increased opportunities for the Duluth Playhouse to increase its program of services.
