In the Apostolic Church those who wanted to be baptized underwent a serious initiation called the catechumenate to engender a deep faith in them. Holy Rosary, Billings, will be hosting the Neocatechumenal Way, for those who, baptized or not, want to deepen their faith. The Neocatechumenal Way will be holding catechesis on Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm, beginning on September 24th at 7pm. Or just come to our own RCIA in Oct. LIFE SCREENING slated for October 27th. St Benedict’s Fall Dinner — Roundup, Montana Nov 4, 2012—details later!

Do you want to discover the Richness of your baptism? Do

you want to understand the Bible more deeply? Do you not

see the presence of God in your life, or understand your

situation of suffering?

In the Apostolic Church those who wanted to be baptized

underwent a serious initiation called the catechumenate to

engender a deep faith in them. Holy Rosary, Billings, will

be hosting the Neocatechumenal Way, for those who,

baptized or not, want to deepen their faith. The

Neocatechumenal Way will be holding catechesis on

center on Wicks Lane in Billings through November 4.

slots every Friday, between the hours of 6:00 am and 2:00 pm, starting

running. thru Nov. 2 . We need men of the Parish to fill in the hours of

10:00 pm on those Fridays, until 6:00 am Saturdays. We will pray

peacefully on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood 24 hours a

day all 40 days. KC’s are planning to cover the night hours—others the

masses. We’re all super people and we want others to feel the

love we have for one another. You can make a difference by

coming to mass just a bit earlier, shake a hand, smile and

A YEAR OF FAITH– Kickoff Mass Oct. 11

Pope Benedict XVI ‘s Year of Faith is Oct 11— Nov. 24, 2013.

The Year coincides with the 50th anniversary of the opening of

the Second Vatican Council and the 20th anniversary of our new

Catechism. The Diocese of Great Falls-Billings will participate

with the celebration of Mass with Bishop Warfel presiding, on

Oct. 11 @ 7:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Co-cathedral in Billings.

Join the 6th Annual Billings LIFE CHAIN on Respect

Life Sunday!

On Sunday, October 7, 1:30 – 3 p.m., pro-life people of Billings and

the surrounding communities will be joining tens of thousands of others

in hundreds of cities across the USA for the annual Life Chain, a

peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life people standing for 90

minutes, praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. Come to our

table near the City Brew at the intersection of King Ave. & 24th St. W.

at 1:30 pm to choose a sign to hold. Then line up along the sidewalk on

both sides of King Ave., standing silently and prayerfully for 90

minutes, holding your sign up for passing motorists to see. Water, lawn

chairs, umbrellas and strollers are welcome!

Laurel Ultreya will meet Monday, Oct 1, at 7:00 pm in the

parish hall. Our speaker will be Karen Hould. It's her first

talk at our Ultreya-hope many of you Cursillistas will come

out and support her!

Rite of Christian Initiation / RCIA

Begins October 16th

On Tuesday, October 16 at 7:00 P.M. we begin our

annual religious education process that culminates at

Easter. RCIA is primarily intended for people who

wish to join the Catholic Faith, however, it is also open

and blessed by the participation of any of our

parishioners or persons who would like to come to a

deeper knowledge of their catholic faith. All are

welcome to participate.
