Position Announcement Culture of Life Spokesperson

Montana Catholic Conference

The (MCC) of Helena is seeking a Culture of Life Spokesperson to assist in

developing public policy & work to protect human life. You must be

articulate in addressing life issues including abortion, embryonic-stem cell

research, human cloning, physician assisted suicide/euthanasia, & the

death penalty as well as other life issues. Must be completely comfortable, &

credible in addressing women’s reproductive issues before legislative

panels, groups, and with individuals. Duties include: Presenting MCC

positions before the Montana State Legislature, organizations, conducting

catechesis , developing educational materials, & coordinating statewide

meetings. Requirements include: Practicing Roman Catholic committed to

Catholic moral & social teaching, possess excellent: public relations,

communications skills, the ability to interact effectively with all

personalities in a positive & professional manner. Law Degree is preferred

but not required. Minimum education, Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.

Travel is required. Salary based on comparable work in Diocese of similar

size, as well as education, ability, and experience. Employer offers an

exceptional benefits package including health insurance, retirement,
