About Saxion Enschede
The building is the first real 'City campus' in Holland. It doesn't look like a traditional school at
all. Characteristic to the building are the pavilions, which lodge different types of education. The
campus does not consist of just classrooms but also of study group - and individual working
spaces, the so-called ‘study landscape’. The City campus is situated in a quiet green part of the
town, next to the city park and only a few minutes walking away from bus and train station and
the lovely towncentre. The campus has a lot to offer: restaurants, an espresso bar and a
theatre. These facilities all contribute to a pleasant stay.
In addition to the main campus, we recently opened a completely new 7-story building that
houses our School of Creative Technology.

The accommodations are located throughout the city – not on-campus, but all within cycling or walking
distance from Saxion. The rooms we offer differ in size, are fully furnished and have all the basic facilities,
such as a bed, table, chair and wardrobe. You will be assigned a single room and you will have to share
the facilities like kitchen and bathroom with other international Saxion students. The common facilities
are shared by a maximum of 7 students*.
In some dormitory buildings students share the same front door with more students but the common
facilities are set on max. 7 students per kitchen/per toilet/per shower. Each room has a standard set of
bed linen, consisting of a duvet, duvet cover, sheet, pillow and a pillow case. You will need to bring your
own towels. The kitchen has a standard inventory with pots, pans and basic cutlery.
It goes without saying that internet is provided in all of our accommodation buildings. In most cases you
will need your Saxion login details (Saxion student number and connection password) to access the
internet. Besides the above mentioned inventory, a washing machine and vacuum cleaner are also
present in the accommodation. Caretakers are available if you need help with all housing-related issues.

• Copy passport of sponsor (parents).
• Legalised copy of bank account the minimum amount should be reserved for
1 year living cost in sponsor’s bank account.
• Original copy of bank reference.

The situation and risk that could happen
If you have failed courses in Saxion, you need to discuss with your head of
program first by sending an email with choosing the 2 option following below:
• You will extend in Saxion 1 semester/1 year, to completed the failed course in
Saxion. Eventhough only 1 course.
• Comeback to BINUS and doing the single degree in BINUS only (not get the
degree from Saxion).
