THANKSGIVING DAY MASS Mass on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, is at 8:00 AM. The collection will be for St. Mary Charities. You are also asked to bring can goods for St. Joseph’s Diner. There will be NO regular 7:00 AM Mass on Thanksgiving Day. The Parish Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 & 23.

The homebound, as well as residents in assisted living facilities and nursing homes can watch the Mass “live” at 8:00 AM on Sundays or watch the video recording of the Mass any time on Sunday or during the rest of the week. ROSARY AND NOVENA The rosary is recited at St. Mary every Friday morning before the 7:00 AM Mass. Novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary is recited on Thursdays after the 7:00 AM Mass.

ANNUAL RAFFLE The St. Mary Altar Society will sell raffle tickets after Mass this weekend, November 17-18. Prizes include a Fontanini Nativity Set and several other items from local merchants and restaurants. Please help support the Altar Society in this fundraiser. Proceeds from this raffle go to supplying articles for the Altar and Sanctuary of the Church.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE St. Mary Outreach will be providing Thanksgiving Boxes for needy families in our area. We would appreciate any and all non-perishable food items for the families in our parish as well as in other needy areas. A list of needed items are in the vestibule of the church. Food may be dropped off in the Vestibule through November 18.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE St. Mary Outreach Committee is sponsoring the Giving Tree in the Vestibule of the Church beginning December 2. The items are for the “Elders” of St. Mary Church, either homebound, Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Home and those in St. Martin de Porres Church in Scott. The ornaments on the tree will indicate male or female. Choose an ornament and bring the gift in a gift bay with tag attached to the bag, on or before December 16.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT On December 2, 1:30 PM, the Lafayette Community String Orchestra will present a program of traditional Christmas carols and pop songs at St. Mary Church. Most members are from Lafayette and surrounding parishes. Admission is free and all are invited.

LOVING THROUGH LOSS St. Piux X Church is sponsoring a marriage workshop for couples who have experienced the loss of a child of any age, Saturday, December 1, 9:00 AM. Registration fee is $40 per couple and includes workshop materials, lunch and a crucifix. Register at [email protected] or call 962-3994.

LIGHTHOUSE CATHOLIC MEDIA New CD’s are available from well-known Catholic presenters. The CD’s are located in the kiosk in the Vestibule of our Church. Your donations for the CD’s will keep this kiosk open.
