I would like to congratulate them all on their dedication and commitment. Thank you to the parents who helped transport the students to and from the venue.

Reports and Parent Teacher Interviews Teachers are currently working very hard putting together a comprehensive report on your child’s progress so far this year. These reports will be sent home with students at the end of Week 9. Parent teacher interviews will be held on Wednesday the 3rd July. You are encouraged to bring your child along to the interview so that they can be a part of the discussions around their progress and can set some goals for the second half of the year. A note will go home next week for parents to nominate a time for an interview.

National Simultaneous Story time Last week the whole school took part in National Simultaneous Story time (NSS). Now in its 19th successful year, NSS is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book that explores age-appropriate themes, and addresses key learning areas of the National Curriculum for Kindergarten to Year 6. This year’s book was ‘Alpacas with Maracas’ by Matt Cosgrove. Classes buddied up and engaged in a variety of fun activities based around the book. Thank you to Miss Hope for organising this event for our students.

Kindergarten 2020 We already have a number of enrolments for Kindergarten 2020. If you have a school aged child for 2020, or have a neighbour or friend with a school aged child for 2020, please come to the office for enrolment forms or make an appointment for a tour of our wonderful school! Kindergarten numbers impact on the whole school structure each year, so the earlier we know Kindergarten numbers the easier it is to plan teachers, classes and rooms needed for 2020.

Lego Incursion

K-2 had a great time at the Lego Incursion. They

designed and built towers, houses, landscapes

and even built a fast racing car to race on the

superfast race track. (photos on the back page)

Have a wonderful fortnight Meegan Parsons Acting Principal
