You are warmly invited to have your say in this year’s School Opinion Survey by providing your opinion about what our school does well and how we can improve. This year’s survey link has been posted on our Facebook page, and a link has been emailed to our families. We have set a school target of 100% survey completion by our families, students, and staff. Thanks for your feedback! Reporting this semester This year, due to COVID-19, Semester 1 report cards will be issued home to families on Friday, 24 th July (Week 2, Term 3). All subject areas will appear on your child’s report except for HASS (Humanities & Social Sciences). Parent/teacher interviews will not take place this semester; however, your child’s teacher may contact you with information about your child’s learning progress this semester. School sport update This week our district school sport committee met to discuss arrangements for Term 3. There are a range of health and safety requirements that determine the type of events that we can safely deliver across our cluster of schools. Inter-school athletics carnival will not be held, however we are hoping to hold our inter-house athletics carnival in the second half of Term 3. The committee has also identified Friday, 28 th August as a Touch Football Gala Day for boys & girls in Years 5 & 6. We’ll keep you posted about sporting events across our cluster as decisions are made. Where Are They Now? Millchester is proud to share the second instalment in our new series, Where Are They Now?
