• It provides conditional cash grants to extremely poor households to improve their health, nutrition and education, particularly children aged 0-14
• It invests on human capital to break the inter-generational cycle of poverty among poor households
4Ps is one of the responses of the Philippine Government to the challenge of meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)

Criteria in the Selection of Households
Eligible households are:
The poorest households are selected through a Proxy Means Test (PMT) which determines the socio-economic category of families.
2Households whose economic condition is equal to or below the provincial poverty threshold

Program Package
4Ps provides conditional cash grants to beneficiaries, through Landbank cash card, to wit:
Health and Nutrition GrantP6,000 per year or P500 per month per
household
EducationP3,000 per year or P300 per month
per child for 10 months a year, to a maximum of 3 children per household
Program Package
A household with three qualified children receives a subsidy of P1,400/month during the school year or P15,000 annually as long as they comply with the conditionalities

• Pregnant Household Member
– pre- and post-natal care.
– avail of appropriate delivery services by a skilled health professional

– monthly weight monitoring and nutrition counseling for children aged 0-2 years old

FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS

- attend family development sessions at least once a month
- ensure attendance in Responsible Parenthood Sessions and Family Counseling Sessions
- participate in community activities, promote and strengthen the implementation of 4Ps
