Various assignments and activities completed throughout the quarter have not only developed my social and communication abilities, but have also established knowledge for my financial future. EverFi, the business plan, and completing the novel Think and Grow Rich have all been critical towards my character development this quarter.EverFi has truly been a pinnacle of my fourth quarter business administration class. Spending hours on the computer learning about finances, I believe EverFi greatly enhanced my thoughts for my future. For instance, I never realized that different types of bankcards existed and now have to consider the advantages and disadvantages of each type of card. Initially, I had only known about the credit card and planned to obtain one once I reached college. However, with the addition of the debit card and cash card, I must take into account the benefits one may bring compared to that of another. The savings module implemented in EverFi has also expounded upon me a plethora of knowledge regarding savings accounts and withholding money for future use. Espousing the preservation of money, I believe this module has greatly improved the quality of the decisions that I may make in the future. Saving money is truly an important aspect of my prospective financial life and EverFi has, indeed, made that future much more brighter. My recently completed business plan greatly indefinitely enhanced my management and communication abilities. Taking the idea from our marketing plan, my group decided to create an electronics company and center its production on the FlexiTV, a portable and foldable television set. Throughout the process of completing the project, our group was required to properly communicate and discuss the company and the method by which we were to present the idea to our classmates. For instance, my group was required to consider multiple points of view when solving our financial issue, as we had to account for countless items that would count towards our overall income. This arduous task allowed me to gain valuable knowledge about the finances of a business and brought upon me the reality of creating a successful business. Through determination and collaboration, however, we eventually reached a consensus that allowed for maximum profit for our business. By partaking in the discussion, I was given insight on the true value of teamwork. Working with others is truly advantageous to not only oneself, but also to those whom one chooses as partners. The power of the Master Mind does, indeed, prevail.Despite the EverFi modules and the business plan, Think and Grow Rich provided the most benefit towards my overall academic and character growth. With various instances of self-development presented throughout the novel, such as persistence and the transmutation of sex, Think and Grow Rich provides a wholesome analysis on human nature and how one can improve his/her own nature. The autosuggestion chapter, for example, transformed my view of my own personal thoughts. I had never realized that I could obtain an immense amount of control over my own emotions and feelings. Although it may seem as if internal thoughts are primarily affected by external influences, oneself actually has complete control over his/her own intrinsic thoughts. This insight will allow me to less rash and more rational and logical decision, as many of the thoughts I feed myself may drastically affect how I feel or act. With this piece of knowledge, along with other insights gained throughout the novel, I believe my character development has reached its highest point to date and will continue expand and improve.In the end, this quarter has truly been a staggering experience for me. With activities such as Think and Grow Rich, EverFi, and the business plan, I have vastly refined my ability to think more rationally, prepare for a brighter future, and communicate more effectively with my peers. I believe this quarter has been an essential milestone on my journey to succeed not only academically, but also personally and metaphysically. Thus, based on the insights and knowledge gained throughout the quarter, I assert that I deserve to maintain my A+ grade in the class.
