Leaving water temperature: Modulation

# Code Description[A.3.1.1.5] [8-05] Leaving water temperature modulation:

▪ 0 (No): Disabled

▪ 1 (Yes): Enabled. The leaving watertemperature is calculated accordingto the difference between desiredand actual room temperature. This allows better matching of theheat  pump capacity to actualrequired capacity and results in lessstart/stop cycles of the heat  pumpand more economic operation.

N/A [8-06] Leaving water temperature maximummodulation:

0°C~10°C (default: 3°C)

Requires modulation to be enabled.

This is the value by which the desiredleaving water temperature is increasedor lowered.

INFORMATION

When leaving water temperature modulation is enabled, the weather‑dependent curve needs to be set to a higherposition than [8-06] plus the minimum leaving watertemperature setpoint required to reach a stable conditionon the comfort setpoint for the room. To increaseefficiency, modulation can lower the leaving water setpoint.By setting the weather‑dependent curve to a higherposition, it cannot drop below the minimum setpoint. 6.2.3 Air purge function on the brine circuitWhen installing and commissioning the unit, it is very important toremove all air from the brine circuit.

NOTICE

It is required that the brine circuit is filled BEFORE thebrine pump test run is activated.

There are 2 ways to perform an air purge:

▪ with a brine filling station (field supply),

▪ with a brine filling station (field supply) in combination with theunit's own brine pump.

10‑day brine pump operation. If a brine buffer vessel is part of thesystem, it may be required to let the brine pump run continuously for10 days after the system is commissioned. If 10‑day brine pumpoperation is:

▪ ON: The unit operates as normal, except that the brine pumpoperates continuously for 10 days, independent of compressorstatus.
