# Code Description[A.3.1.1.5] [8-05] Leaving water temperature modulation:
▪ 0 (No): Disabled
▪ 1 (Yes): Enabled. The leaving watertemperature is calculated accordingto the difference between desiredand actual room temperature. This allows better matching of theheat pump capacity to actualrequired capacity and results in lessstart/stop cycles of the heat pumpand more economic operation.

This is the value by which the desiredleaving water temperature is increasedor lowered.
INFORMATION
When leaving water temperature modulation is enabled, the weather‑dependent curve needs to be set to a higherposition than [8-06] plus the minimum leaving watertemperature setpoint required to reach a stable conditionon the comfort setpoint for the room. To increaseefficiency, modulation can lower the leaving water setpoint.By setting the weather‑dependent curve to a higherposition, it cannot drop below the minimum setpoint.
