Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most successful games ever and has shipped more than 75 million copies. The game’s online mode has also demonstrated great staying power, driving in-game purchases and helping Take-Two beat earnings estimates over the last three years.

NBA 2K

The NBA2K series is the leading basketball video game franchise on the market – outselling EA’s NBA Live by somewhere close to a 100-to-1 margin.

Strong sales and high quality of product make it likely that Take-Two will continue to dominate the basketball genre through the next decade. NBA 2K17 was one of the best-reviewed entries in franchise history.

Borderlands

Take-Two has published two mainline entries and two spinoffs in the Borderlands series. A third game in the mainline series is likely in the works and could be a performance driver for Take-Two.

The Borderlands franchise’s emphasis on multiplayer gameplay and collectibles make it well suited to drive recurring in-game purchases.

Red Dead Redemption

The original Red Dead Redemption shipped roughly 15 million copies, and the upcoming sequel has a good chance of topping that number and cementing the franchise as a major performance driver for Take-Two.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the company’s most important 2017 release. The upcoming sequel will also introduce a new online mode that could turn into a strong recurring revenue generator for Take-Two.

In 2016, Take-Two signed a new, multi-year deal to make games built around the WWE license. The video game company believes the franchise still has substantial long-term growth opportunities.
