Information-Seeking Behavior of Nurses at Health SciencesMatthewTremblay,HealthSciencesNorthLibraryDuring2012theLibraryconductedasurveyoftheinformation-seekingbehaviorofnurses,includingalargegroupofnewlyhired,recentnursinggraduates,andcloseto100currentnursingstaff.Wedevelopedoursurveytoolbasedonquestionsfoundintheliterature.Theresponsesshowedthemostpopularsourcesofinformationforbothnewhiresandcurrentnurses,andthesystemicissuesnursesfaceonthewardinaccessinginformation.Resultsrevealsimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthetwonursinggroups,andofferaninterestingcomparativetofindingsfromtheliterature.
