1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report for the month ending 30TH September 2013 records the progress of activities

during the month and provides early warnings for possible delays to the major project

milestones. Critical activities and areas of concern have been identified and highlighted

along with mitigation measures to be taken.

The major scope of work for the project is mentioned below

M/s. L & T had been engaged for diversion of 400 KV & 220 KV WBSETCL lines

and 220 KV DVC line

Relocation of existing OH HT line across Airport at Andal is in progress for

WBSETCL 400 KV D/C line

Diversion work for WBSETCLs 220 KV line has already started from 31-08-2013

onwards within BAPL area.

Areas of Concern:

i. Obtaining approval from DVC for diversion of existing 220 KV DVC line

ii. Right of Way (ROW) issues for all the three lines

3.0 Major highlights

The fresh revised proposal has been

approved by WBSEDCL. The existing WO

on S & W will have to be amended as per

new scope of work and site work to be

commenced.

2 Work front available with L & T for

WBSETCLs 400kV Tower foundation

work.

Tower location nos. 7/0 for both

circuits inside BAPL Aerotropolis

area is held up due to land dispute.

Tower location no. 8/0 for Circuit I

inside BAPL Aerotropolis area held

up due to overlapping of realigned

Tamra Nala passing through the

area of two legs of proposed tower.

The excavated Nala alignment has

to be realigned further away to

make area for the leg foundations.

The said area is flooded with Tamra

Nala water and the diversion

followed by foundation work can

only be carried out after monsoon

and after drying up of the area
