Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Ministry of Finance, Government ofIndia has issued a draft Circular dated October 28, 2011 regarding exports of as manyas 68 services, including banking and asset management, will be eligible for refundof Service Tax. CBEC in order to streamline the process of sanctioning of refundclaims arising on account of Service Tax on input services that have gone intoexports of services in terms of Notification No. 5/2006 and has sought publiccomments on the attached Circular. A copy of the draft circular has already beenhosted in EEPC India website.

You are requested to send your views/suggestions latest by 20th November, 2011to [email protected]; [email protected] so that Council can prepare a noteand send the same to the CBEC.
