CIVILAB 2022 CONCRETE MIX DESIGN –DREUX GORISSE METHOD

How to use CiviLab to perform the concrete mix design Dreux Gorisse Method?

1- Test Data: Click on the "Concrete" tab then click on the "Data" button in the "Dreux Gorisse" panel, then:

- Enter the test name; - Select the test date; - Select the layer used in the drawing; - Add the grain size distribution test and the relative density of the

sand (the grain size distribution of the sand used in the mix design is calculated from the different sands entered);

- Add the grain size distribution test and the relative density of the gravel;

- You can add a second and a third gravel by checking them and adding the grain size distribution test and the relative density of each one;

- Select the tables to display - Select the concrete workability ; - Select the vibration type ; - Select the gravel form ; - Select the sand form ; - Select the cement dosage ; - Click on the button of "Calculate" (to evaluate the maximum size

of aggregate) ; - Enter or calculate the c / w ratio according to the Bolomey formula

or according to the workability of the concrete; - input the additional correction kp; - Enter the relative density of cement ; - If the lightweight aggregates used then check it ; - To display the reference curve, check the corresponding box; - To add the batch adjustments, click on the corresponding button

and input the data

Click on the button of "Add/Modify";

2- Add a sheet:

Click on the "Sheets" button in the "Dreux Gorisse" panel and input: - The sheet name; - Select the font; - Select the layer used in the background drawing; - Select the tests; - To display general project information’s check the corresponding

box; - To display the test information’s check the corresponding box;

Then click on "Add/Modify" button

3- Display the report To display the report, click on the sheet name in the tree view

To export or print the report, click on "Home" tab, then click the appropriate button in the outputs panel (Print or Export button)
