Para se mexer:Present Continuous is a verb tense used to express a

situation that is happening now (acontecendo agora).

It is formed by subject + verb to be + verb + ing + complement:

Sally is buying a new bracelet. (buy)

Mike is studying for a Math test right now. (study)

They are writing their composition. (write)

Don’t forget!

Verbs ended with E we take and add ING.

She is loving her new house. (love)

Verbs that the three last letters are CVC consonant vowel consonant we double.

They are running. (run)

Negative form: we use not in the sentences after the verb to be:

You are going to the circus. You are not going to the circus.

Felix is cooking a delicious spaghetti. Felix is not cooking a delicious spaghetti.

Magali is travelling to Cuba. Magali is not travelling to Cuba.

Interrogative form: we invert the subject and the verb to be:

Felix is cooking spaghetti. Is Felix cooking spaghetti?

Are you going to the circus?

Is Magali travelling?
