FIRE PROTECTION SCOPE SPECIFICATIONS

1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL EXISTING FIELDCONDITIONS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW EXISTING FIELDCONDITIONS PRIOR TO BID AND SHALL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT IN BIDPROPOSAL. FIRE PROTECTION SCOPE

THE EXISTING WET PIPE SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC SPRINKLERSSHALL BE REVISED THROUGHOUT THE REMODELED PORTIONOF THE BUILDING. SYSTEM DESIGN AND INSTALLATION SHALLBE IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA-13, AND ALL STATE AND LOCALAUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION.ALL MATERIAL TO BE U.L. AND FM APPROVED. AREAS WITHCEILINGS SHALL HAVE ALL PIPING CONCEALED ABOVE THECEILING. INSTALLATION

1. THE COST OF CUTTING OPENINGS SHALL BE BORNE BYTHE CONTRACTOR.

2. DRAIN VALVES, IF REQUIRED, SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE ANDDRAINS CARRIED TO THE NEAREST FLOOR DRAIN ANDARRANGED FOR FULL FLOW.
