U.P.State Branch is an integral part of Bharatiya Sangyaharak Association which was established in 1996 at the India’s holy city of Varanasi. Aim of the Association is to bring the specialists of Indian Medicine, who are working in the field of Pain Relief and Sangyaharan, under one umbrella. Association also aims to protect and safe guard the rights of Anaesthetists of Indian Medicine. It organizes Conferences almost every year and provides platform for the young scientists to present their research work and to have exchange of thoughts amongst them. Since it is very important to keep pace with the developments in the field of Pain Relief, organization of Seminars and Workshops is its regular feature. “Sangyaharan Shodh” is the Official Journal of the Association and published bi-annually.

Varanasi Varanasi is the oldest living city in the world. It is said that Hinduism developed here between its two rivers – the Varuna and the Assi and it is no surprise that millions of pilgrims visit the City every year to achieve the ultimate Salvation. Since Varanasi’s Original name Kashi is derived from the word ‘Kasha’ which means light, Varanasi is Often Called the City of lights. ‘Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together,’ writes Mark Twain, Quite rightly so. For the city figures prominently in the epic Mahabharata and even finds mention in Pauranic literature which date its existence back to three millennia. The city of temples reverberates to the sound of clanging bells and Sanskrit hymns, it also buzzes with the din that emanates from its bustling bazaars along its maze of serpentine lanes – all of which somehow seem to be leading to the famous bathing ghats of Varanasi. There is little to compare with the splendor of Benaras, seen from the river at the crack of dawn. Varanasi has always been a great centre for culture, education and learning.

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we feel honored in inviting you to join us for the ‘’ 21st National & 6th International conference on Mahamana vision of integrated Health System and its Outcome” to be held in Varanasi on 15th -17th January, 2021. It will be our endeavor to update you with recent developments and new modalities in the fields of Sangyaharan, Pain, and Palliative Care & Intensive care in Ayurveda. Distinguished faculty from different part of India and abroad will participate in truly interactive discussions.

The venue of conference is the cultural and religious center of India since time immemorial. Its presiding deity is Lord Shiva. Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon at Sarnath, which is not too far off from Varanasi. The city is situated on the bank of the Holy River Ganges and a visit to the Ghats makes us think of our heritage. Banaras Hindu University is the immortalized dream of Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya.

For accompanying persons, Varanasi offers many places of natural, archeological and cultural significance to visit. The weather in January is almost pleasant with temperature ranging between 90 to 240.

We are eagerly awaiting your arrival in Varanasi. Your presence and active participation will actually result in success of the Conference.
