LOOKING AHEAD

celebrate the beauty of our risen Lord through worship
and praise on this, the Sabbath day.

GAA will be having its Annual Talent Show on Saturday,
October 24th
in the School Gym. The show is free but there
will be a small charge for the meal which will be served
from 7:00 pm (baked pasta, bread, dessert and a drink). We
hope you can attend and bring a friend. This is a fundraiser to
support our 8th graders for their class trip.
HEALTH EXPO, October 25th, 2-4 PM at the YMCA:
Health Ministries is looking for willing volunteer helpers for
this event. If you're willing to help, please contact Rhoda
Kanna at 757-603-5551. This is a community outreach event.
Together we can make a difference and share in Christ's work
of ministering to others.
AYA October 31st: Come and hear pianist extraordinaire,
Calvin Taylor, in concert at 5:00 p.m.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: the Adventist Bookmobile
Van will be her on Sunday, November 1st at 9:00 a.m. Food
and book special fliers will be on the foyer table.
GYC (Generation of Youth for Christ) is in Louisville, KY
this year! It will be held from December
30 through January 3. We would like as many of our young
people between the ages of 13 and 30 to attend. We are
considering taking the bus if there is enough interest in going
together as a group. If you are interested please contact
Pastor Jason at (909) 363-5991 as we are trying to evaluate
how much support and interest there would be."

CHURCH FUND: We have a growing need to increase giving
for Capital Improvement. One heat pump is now awaiting
replacement, with others continuing to age. We have recently
rehabbed the heating system for the baptistry, and are still
working on replacement of the double back doors. Please keep
this area of ministry in your planning and prayers.
