Modes of study for ACCA at LSBF • Full time (tuition and revision combined) • Online – www.studyinteractive.org What is expected of the student attending the course? It is recommended that student’s out of class self-study hours (e.g. expected study time per week) should, as a minimum, be equivalent to the tuition time in the class. Attendance You must attend all your classes. International students must attend a minimum of 15 hours of study per week. Non-attendance will be reported to the UK Border Agency and will result in significant ramifications to your visa status, and may lead to deportation. Attendance Policy This policy applies to all students. Although the majority of our students are punctual and maintain exceptional attendance percentages, unfortunately there are still quite a few who don't . Lateness will not be permitted. Students can arrive and enter class up to 20 minutes from the advertised start time only. After 20 minutes has elapsed, students will be required to wait until the class breaks before entering. If entering at break no attendance will be recorded for the morning session. The same applies to students arriving late back to class after lunch. Signing the registers Students will be asked to sign the register at four points in the day, in the morning, immediately after 20 minutes of class time has elapsed, straight after first break, sometime in the afternoon and 20 minutes before the end of the class Students not in class at the time the register is taken will not be able to sign the register and will be recorded as absent. We are required to not only monitor your attendance but also record it. We also have an obligation to report offences to the UKBA and remove sponsorship, which will invalidate your VISA and result in your being required to leave the UK. Please note that the UKBA require us to report any student who has missed 10 sessions (a session is half day), therefore 5 full days during any semester. Importance of Past Papers To emphasise the importance and value of practising past paper type questions under exam conditions, LSBF provide a mock exam for all students at the end of the course before the exams. Students are also encouraged to use the ACCA website as a resource for past papers to practice questions.
Homework/Coursework Self-study work will be issued by the tutor and will include pre-reading, and part and full questions to be attempted. Mock Exams There are two mock exams; tuition mock (at the end of the tuition course/phase which is not compulsory) and a revision mock at the end of the revision course/phase. Please note, if you plan to avail our free re-sit policy, you must pass the revision mock. Exam results ACCA provides tuition providers with students’ exam results in order to monitor the effectiveness of tuition provided. Please note that when enrolling with us you consent to ACCA sharing your exam results with us; this information is kept in strict confidence and is used for academic quality assurance purposes only. College Quality Procedures
Student feedback forms at the end of each course.

familiarise themselves with UKBA regulations and at all times abide by the conditions
of their visa. Students must inform the School immediately of any change in their

registration, exemptions and examination entries.
13. Availability of the online resources cannot be guaranteed due to reasons beyond
