South Asia's largest show on HVAC industry- ACREX India, organized by Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) and produced by NürnbergMesse India, concluded its 21st edition in the National Capital Region on February 27-29, 2020, with new highs and benchmarks of leadership, technology, creating awareness and opening business prospects.
Themed “Shuddh Vaayu Deergh Aayu” (Clean Air, Long Life), the exhibition was spread over 32000 square meters of gross area and presented more than 400 domestic and international brands that drew over 30,000 business visitors. These numbers were attained whilst combatting early stages of the global pandemic of Covid-19 in India.
There was a live exhibit on indoor air quality with five rooms carrying different combinations of air-purifying methods, in order to explain the efficacy of each. Besides the exhibit there was a big surge in the participation as well as the response for companies providing clean air solutions. It was a very encouraging demonstration of the future focusing on advanced techniques of designing new homes that would feature systems that support and accentuate natural ventilation.
