REGLAS: RULES

1. Possessive adjectives precede the noun.

2. Su has five meanings: his, her, its, their, and your. Su meaning your is used when speaking to one or more persons in a formal way.

3. Tu (your) is distinguished from tú (you) by dropping the accent. Tu(s) is used when speaking to one person in a familiar way.

4. Add s to each possessive adjective when the noun following is plural.

5. Adding s does not change the meaning of the possessive adjective; su amigo may mean their friend, sus amigos may mean his friends.

6. Nuestro (our) change the o to a before a feminine singular noun. Nuestra add s before a feminine plural noun.

7. The other possessive adjectives (mi, tu, su, mis, tus, sus) do not have distinctive feminine forms.

8. De el, de ella, de Usted, de Ustedes, de ellos, and de ellas always follow the noun.
