Thanks to its totally integrated process, Ondaplast reaches an extraordinary high level of flexibility which is operatively reflected in the capacity to produce pharma packaging in quality and quantity specifically required by the sector operations.

to final packingThe corrugated polypropylene Polionda® and solid Ondaplaque® sheets, as well as all containers, dividers, boxes and lids represent the perfect answer to meet the requirements of the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics products.

Products’ characteristics are:- hygiene- fungus and mold proofing - absence of bacterial proliferation - chemical and biological inertia - ease

of cleaning - possibility of sterilization - lightweight- ease of picking and handling- 100% recyclability.

Ondaplast is ISO 15593 certified since 2013 in order to guarantee the highest standards in terms of contamination and hygiene control. Furthermore, to guarantee always better standards, we set up a pharma room to have an even better control of the converting and packaging activities.Our R&D department has developed a specific know-how on the products and standards required by pharma & cosmetic producers.

PHARMA AND COSMETICS Procedures

and In-Process Control

Ondaplast has set up a dedicated and segregated area for the production of pharma containers where is performed a peculiar activity of contamination prevention.

All other process, which are not inside the segregated area, are strictly controlled in order to prevent contamination with dust, hairs, liquids, foreign objects or insects.

All materials, including pallets, are clean, dry and made of approved materials.

Industrial Processes controls:

- the extrusion process is designed to eliminate all residual risks of contamination of the sheets

- same applies to the converting processes

- Machine operators, according to defined procedure as well as to the ISO 9001 standards, perform quality control.

CONTAMINATION PROTECTION

In addition to the mandatory safety equipment all operators and persons that might get into contact with materials for pharmaceutical applications wear clean working clothes, white gloves, hair net or baggy cap and beard net if necessary.

LABORATORY CONTROL

Samples are taken on a regularly basis and tested in the laboratory to guarantee compliance of product parameters with specifications and to double check the system of Worker Self-Control.

HYGIENIC CONTROL

According to UNI EN 15593 requirements, chemical and microbiological reviews are done on finished products to monitor the hygienic level and to guarantee the quality of Ondaplast® and Ondaplaque materials.
